He will have an effect. A positive one.
He is also the only true ballhandling guard on the roster after Russell. We need him.
I disagree with the bolded. Like Minnesota's front office, I think you're forgetting Jordan McLaughlin and just how good that kid was last year albeit in odd circumstances as a two-way player. And unlike Ricky Rubio, he's more than capable of scoring off the dribble and shooting from outside. I don't think he's necessarily a better overall player than Rubio, but I would have rather let him hold down that role for the Wolves while upgrading the frontcourt.
They'd have to actually play him first.

I know one thing Lamelo Ball is not the answer. Watching the nets game 0-3 to start the game and given up 12 points between Irving and Dinwiddie. 1 pretty assist though to Hayward. Also hot the backboard on 3 pt attempt.

Watching this same game right now and yeah, I'm glad Minnesota didn't end up with this kid.

I think the difference between Rubio and Thus Jones is that Rubio is worth the extra money. I'd bet that in a year if Rosa's wanted to move Rubio for value that would be there. Rubio is a big PG that also plays D. I think there might be a team that would give up something to get him. Rosa's has already let Tyus walk. If he thinks it's worthwhile to move Rubio for one reason or another he will do it. That's gonna kinda suck honestly but I think we should all be pretty prepared for it to happenespcappen especially when/if McLaughlin plays and shows last year wasn't a mirage.
As it's been said adding Rubio didn't keep the team from upgrading the PF spot. Juancho isn't going to be scoreless and look meh at best all year. Same for Layman. Meanwhile if they decide they really need someone else RHJ is just one of a few guys they could sign that aren't on a roster right now. They could also make a trade. I know there were guys people really liked at #17 but I still don't feel like it was a massive difference between that pick and one in the 20's. There were guys people wanted with those picks that they probably would have been more happy with the deal overall if we would have selected them. Personally I liked the players we got but let's see how things pan out. We have 2 wins one ugly and the other kind of impressive. Rubio has had a hand in that hopefully it continues.

Kevin Durant is a scoring machine and Harris might shoot 50% from 3 with the amount of wide open looks he's going to get.

I love watching the Warriors struggle. This Bulls-Warriors game is super sloppy

29 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists for Julius Randle in a Knicks win against the Bucks...
Meh. No thanks.

Zion played 38 minutes tonight. I guess the restrictions are history, but I can't see him holding up very long if that continues.

Cam - Don't you realize Randle's not a good fit for our system? :).

Ja Morant had to leave the game tonight due to a lower leg injury. It looked pretty severe as Morant immediately hopped off the court and towards the locker room where they had to get a wheelchair for him.
