Maybe at the end of the year when we are on the outside looking in for the playoffs we will realize we need to play harder all the time. Oh wait its been 13 years and counting of that so you think we would already know that.

That's my new schtick. Right now, I'm predicting a 7th place finish. Stay tuned for my next update. :)
Re: Back To The Winning (Wolves vs. Suns)
Im legit worried about Kat. I don't know what to think of it. He does so much stuff that hurts the team defensively. Goes after blocks he has no shot at getting allowing a weak side rebound. Mental mistakes (like the possessions in the 1st half where we were doubling Booker PnRs but he dosen't show and allows Booker to step into a 3). The Suns attacked Kat all night on the PnR, all fucking night and he could not contain. The wolves went down 8 in the 3rd Q, took Kat out and ran the Tyus/Wig/Butler/Belly/Taj lineup and we got stops and went on a 14-2 run I believe.
Butler was also pretty bad tonight, same with Teague.
I thought Wiggins brought it tonight and Taj did Taj things. We really missed Gorgui.
But I think we have a Kat problem and a pretty big one
*Kat is super talented and I am not trying to come off as he is the only problem on the team because there are some warring signs but our weak link on defense can't be our big man, Im more scared than upset that if he never gets it, it really don't matter.

We are still 2 games up on the 9th team in the West, game like these are really frustrating because we are the far more talented team.

I think you're right unfortunately. He chases so much on D. He gambled like a guard. It doesn't make any sense. He could just stand still and be more impactful.

I hear you Kek. KAT has gone from a potentially transformational talent to a massive liability on one end of the floor. That's excusable as a 19 or 20-year old 1st/2nd year player. But he's in his 3rd year now and still looks like a fish out of water on defense. He's like Lip's guy Collins, except Collins is a rookie!

I was watching San Antonio/Milwaukee last night. Granted, the Bucks won that game, but it was amazing watching the difference between Aldridge/Gasol play defense versus KAT. They are just solid and let their natural length do the work for them versus jumping, flopping, and getting all twisted around. Move your feet, keep your arms up, and stay the eff down.

What was the issue with Gorgui tonight?
Re: Back To The Winning (Wolves vs. Suns)
Raise your hands if you're looking forward to Rubio extending the losing streak to 3!

I know I made a thread during the playoffs about offensive bigs in the NBA and no team in the playoffs had there starting Center a top 3 offensive option (I believe Toronto was the only one), every other team had a defensive specialist at Center.
I am legit starting to wonder if you can win with an offensive 1st center.
I mean Towns was a -27 tonight and Teague was a -23. Even with Butler poor play he was only a -9, that is a 18 point difference from KAT and I thought Butler did not play good. We missed Gorgui tonight.
