Haha, yeah I like calling him out, but besides his sometimes irrational takes on Dlo and stubbornness, he's definitely a net positive on the board. FNG, you're a solid poster for sure, but you definitely win the award for longest/most boring posts. Cool and lip are probably my favorite posters, but you're all good and it's great reading the thoughts of other wolves fans! Btw... towns has gotta quit whining so much, dudes a freaking headcase (I know he's had it tough)... edwards is the man, follow his lead and don't let your ego get in the way and you'll still have a successful career. Go wolves, let's shatter FNG's win projection!

Oh really?

D-Loser, I kindly refer you to my recent treatise on KAT's poor passing, a tome inspired by one of FNG's running observations. Or perhaps you would prefer one of the dissertations I've written analyzing the grammar usage of various posters? I don't post as frequently these days, but I hope that doesn't make my observations sound more breezy and interesting when I do write.

FNG, keep those long posts coming. Somebody's gotta come in second.

Whoa.

Woe.

I didn't expect this thread to take THIS kind of shift.

We all have our faults as posters. And people. Those who can acknowledge them and try to work on them usually end up fairly happy and generally respected.

Those who are humorously oblivious to them are at least fun to snicker at privately a couple of days later when reading threads like these.

The Wolves are on a very rare win streak. ENJOY!

Nope, D-Loser has ruled, and I am the clear winner in this category. Drew, you're going to have to pick it up a little to provide any challenge to me at all!

(Closed circuit to D-Loser: There are 5 posters here with win predictions lower than my 35-win prediction. Let's work on shattering Hockey's, WolvesFan's, PorkChop's, KG4Ever's, and Q's win predictions before we even begin any discussion of gong over mine!)

Was watching the news last night and a segment came on about the terrible conditions in Afghanistan since the Taliban retook control. It explained that most of the country is now in abject poverty with a small percentage having most of the wealth. Then at the end it showed people having to sell their young children in order to put food on the table. They showed one couple leading their 6 year old to be handed over to her new owner, while the child dragged her heels and fought not to go. Disturbing to say the least. Who knows what you can believe on the news these days, and of course that's a whole other discussion. But it put into perspective what's really important and how unimportant schisms on a message board are. This used to be a fun place to vent and learn from each other all things Wolves basketball. It seems kind of silly how we sometimes veer away from that. I'm going to make a concerted effort to do my part in returning the discussion to the lively banter this board was famous for. Thanks to all who still take the time to participate and lend your thoughts and expertise. Go Wolves.

Yep, it's all about perspective. I plan to do my part also... I'll be posting more as we ride this Ant wave to the playoffs this year (still plenty of room on the bandwagon) while winning the 3/6 first round matchup with the jazz! Keep those posts coming FNG... if they're available on audiobook, all the better! (I kid, lol)

Ha, love it...I'll sign you up for my podcasts! But I'm going to ignore Cool's advice and continue to be a dick...I'm much more comfortable in that role in the anonymity provided by the internet. (also I kid, I kid!)

Truthfully? It's Lip. I think I'm the only asshole that's ever gotten angry with him, once. Without him I'm not sure we still exist at this juncture.
