The Kings trailed the Timberwolves by 17 points with 2:49 left in the 4th quarter.
Since 1996-97, the first year of play-by-play data, NBA teams entered the day 0-8,378 when trailing by 17 or more in the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter or overtime.
The Kings won, 133-129. https://t.co/w1ma1HD7cC

Legit question do you actually believe this loss is good. Blowing a lead no team has done in the history of the NBA with less then 3 minutes left.
How is that good for this teams psyche

Should prepare us for the stretch run of tanking

Check the box score to see the wolves gave up 47 points in the last 11 minutes of the game. 33 in the last six minutes of regulation and 14 in overtime.
These guys are good!
If Ryan Saunders had any pride he'd resign

Been tanking for 14 of 15 years. What could go wrong. What poor soul is going to have to have his career ruined being drafted by the wolves

Ryan said its hindsight 20/20 pulling your starters up 7 with 1:39 to go

We are now in sole possession of the 5th spot in the lottery. As bad as things are now, I still think this team will pass the Kings, Hornets, and Wizards by the end of the season and possibly the Pistons. So I anticipate the Wolves ending up with the 8th or 9th position in the lottery, However, I'm developing faith in Ryan's ability to tank so I remain optimistic that we can end up in the top five.

Legit asking what gives you hope that the wolves can pass those teams. Kat hasn't won a game since Thanksgiving. I also got to imagine Cov is traded. Also wolves haven't won a game since the Teague trade.

Lip is it really ryan tanking or is he just this bad. Pretty confident we need a new coach next year. Ryan is in way over his head.
