Rubio was trash for most of this game like most of this season but I credit the Clippers defense too. Them guys are legit.

I think JoMac looked much better with his speed and driving ability. Plus he can shoot.

I have some financial stake in him but he or Naz should be starting. He has weaknesses when he puts the ball on the floor but he knocks down 3s and is our best one on one defender

We're inept, but we aren't tanking.

Kawhi and Lou Williams just absolutely killed us in the 4th. Those guys both made a series of tough shots to close it out. Not saying we didn't make mistakes and Saunders didn't do us any favors, but I don't know what else could have been done to stop those two. When Jaden finally was subbed in for Okogie, he had an awesome contest on a Leonard three....all net.

The Clippers are just stacked. Not a single weakness on that team.

Exactly right, Cool. Ryan Saunders was playing Okogie and Rubio together long before the Wolves were entrenched in last place. You could argue that playing Rubio at any time is evidence of taking, which means the Wolves were taking since day one. Of course they're not taking. But this team is clearly inept from Rosas to Saunders.

After all these games of Rubio and Okogie not working together, with no pressure to change or improve the logical conclusion has to be that theyre ok with losing. Otherwise there would be change in the roster, lineup, or coaching.

When your mom is monitory owner in the team why change when you have life long job security

This has been a problem even dating back to Thibs. One of the issues is he's a big, not a ball handling perimeter player. This is why Abe has said all along it's a mistake to build around an offensive big.

The second issue is they put a guy like Batum on him and now it's not a huge advantage to isolate him on the wing since Batum can easily stay in front of him.

So what's left? The post up. Well, the post up is one of the easiest things to guard because you can be super physical without getting a foul called, or you can front, and then of course the guys guarding Okogie and Rubio can sag in. It was a freakin' crowd in the lane in the 2nd half after the Clippers made some adjustments.

It's just harder to create shot attempts for him versus Leonard. But yeah, 15 is still way too few.

Ricky is our starting point guard when DLO is out. Do you expect him never to play at the same time as Okogie when someone has to guard Leonard? I'm not a Ryan fan either, but let's be rational.
