I don't know that I will watch another NBA game this year. I am tired of watching this team being disrespected by the officials. This latest call is insane. I have watched repeatedly as guys are tucking in their jerseys' while other players are shooting their FT's. Why is it suddenly a technical during a dead ball? I hope the wolves are protesting this.
I've never heard Jim Pete complain every game about the bad officiating. I doubt there is anything going on behind the scenes, (Refs betting against the Wolves or something who knows though) but the officiating has been quite ridiculous at times.
I think we should go back 3 years ago and award Kyrie a delay of game T for kyrie having his Jersey untucked on his game winner for the championship

OKC understands what they are trying to do as a team, MN on the other hand looks lost frequently. Out of control JC or Josh, periods of KAT not being involved. What is MN's identity on offense? What is the primary team concept? OKC put us in pick and roll or obtained a switch off the pick and cleared lanes to attack all game, late shot clock the ball goes to Paul, Danilo, Shai, or Schroder. They appear to have an identity or understanding of what they are trying to do as a team on offense, MN not so much.
Teague plays up against Schroder and it seems like playing against certain players in the league depends on his level of motivation. This is what bothers me most about Teague, I see a player that should be just under the elite PG's. However he allows himself to be inconsistent and play well one game followed by many sub par games. I think with a player like this you have to pound into his head "attack Jeff" and if you see him fading take him out have a talk and get him back in and demand he attacks. 20+ points a night should be his goal, that would get him attacking and give him a tangible way to measure if he's using his talents or being passive.
There are many things I could rant about but I'll just focus on Graham. His defense is so over rated, he's physical and hustles but that does not make you a good defender. Put a faster player on him and his physical style / hustle just leads to lots of fouls. As a coach you have to realize his weakness, defending speed and his own shooting. On defense play him against other physical players and avoid speed, on offense his role is constant movement. He should be a basket cutter and look to pass or drive anytime he has the ball. More than anything, unless he improves on offense he should get very little minutes.
Like Wiggins against Cleveland in past years. I think that it is not at all uncommon for players to get hyped to play against certain teams or players. Wiggins still bitter at Cleveland for dumping him for Love.
It is a trait that shows up in many lower end players though. The Teagues or Wiggins. Guys who are legit bring it most nights, not just once or twice a month. KAT rarely has an off night, when he does he usually destroys the next game.

Signing Teague in the first place was a mystery to me. We were a poor defensive team that needed better 3-point shooting at the time. Teague's always been a pretty poor defender and he had a long-standing reputation for inconsistent effort. He's been a decent 3-point shooter throughout his career, but a low-volume one. It's an absolute certainty that he won't be with this team after this season. So he's here until he's gone. How's that for a profound statement? :) I'd like to see him traded to a contender in exchange for a 2nd round pick and expiring contract by the February trade deadline. I'd be making calls right now after his good game last night. :)

Chris Paul epitomizes the word bitch though. Is there a more scummy NBA player in the league? Not just for bringing up an untucked jersey while Bell was walking on the floor, but he has also been caught kicking dudes in the nuts. I bet most NBA players want to punch him in the face.

I agree both of you. I'm with sjm on Jordan Bell. There was absolutely no excuse for him to walk onto the court like he did. It wasn't as if he stepped onto the court with an untucked shirt and then got called for delay of game. He walked onto the court and then took a stroll before finally tucking his shirt in, giving Chris Paul time to through his fit and time for the official to make the call. As sjm noted, his jersey shouldn't have been totally untucked in the first place. Then again, it was a cheap call at a critical part of the game. That call would never be made against most teams in the League.

One more thought on last night's game. Okogie had a good game, going 5 for 8 from the field and 2 or 3 from behind the arc. Other than Bell's +1 in 20 minutes, Okogie was the only plus player for the Wolves at +11 in 33 minutes. Okogie did his part as did KAT. But Culver's 4-13 shooting (0-6 from behind the arc) and KBD's 0-7 shooting are unacceptable. And Covington has to do better than 1-5 from behind the arc. If not for Teague's surprise appearance as a borderline allstar PG, the Wolves would have been blown out.

Guys jersey's come untucked all the time. Side note: I've thought for years how it's bizarre and the amazing technology we have and we can't keep sports player's jerseys tucked in. Lol I thought Bell was solid. His stats looked good but I don't think he plays as good as they were but he was solid.

The bottom half or third could be made with elastic, like football jerseys are. It would be tighter fitting through the waist so it likely stay there easier. Likely wouldn't be all that hard.

Let's make the Wolves play in romper's next game as a tribute to that call....LMAO!
