Saric continues to do good things when he is on the court.

Wolves now have 7 players with a + netrtg led by Saric.

Saric +10.3
Cov +9.4
Rose +4.6
Teague +2.6
KAT +2.1
Wiggs +1.9
Dieng +0.8

Teague may not look great on the court, but his numbers are strikingly good. He was near the bottom in net rtg a couple of weeks ago, something like a -9.

I imagine his +33 last night helped boost his overall +/- rating! Like you said, he didn't look so hot in this category not all that long ago.

Saric is sort of reminds me of something between Pek and Love on the skill spectrum but has in common with those guys plenty of overall size and strenth and just knows how to freaking play basketball. Again in the Charlotte game he had another one of those baseline offensive rebound that's one of his signature plays. He just has a knack. He is skilled but he is not soft.

Good things have consistently happened with him on the court and its noticeable. He makes quick decisions on offense which I really like, if the shot is not there he makes the right pass with no hesitation then he moves. On D he's got great positioning. I think we really got a great deal getting him and Roco. Saric can a nice piece next to KAT for a long time.

At what price?

He's locked up through next season. Then, he becomes A LOT more expensive. How much are you willing to resign him for if he remains at this level? Improves?

Yeah, it feels like our starting front line is set for next season: KAT, Saric, and RoCo.

My guess is most assume our starting SG is set too with Wiggins, but we'll see if the last two games are just one of his typical teases. Regardless, we have Okogie pushing him and hopefully he's only going to get better (not always a guarantee with Wolves rookies - many never do improve). So while I'm a bit wobbly, I will say SG is set between the two of them.

That leaves PG. That is very fuzzy to me in terms of who has that job in 2019-20.

We're paying Taj and Tolliver 20 mil. I think 15-20 mil / per should do it. Maybe we can deal Gorgui eventually too as his contract moves closer to completion. We will have options and we need a PF moving forward. I think we'd be crazy not to try to lock him up. I don't see him commanding a max deal, and if he is playing at that level by extension time then we've got a good problem.

Saric is basically making peanuts right now and next season because he is still under the rookie scale from a few years ago. So yeah he is gonna get paid a lot more.

It's worth mentioning that the mid level by the time Saric gets a raise will be around 10 million. So yeah he is gonna get more than that. How much?

So how much over 10 million will saric get? There is going to be some money available but who is gonna actually get paid? Will some guys that aren't high level players get a bunch of money? Will a bunchbof money even with some of those bad contracts coming off the books and the Wolves leverage Saric being a RFA to get him at a good deal? Will they be smarter than when they paid Dieng? It's possible the Wolves have learned.

Also who is calling the shots on this deal? Does Saric feel invested in this roster and franchise etc? It feels like this is a relatively good problem if Saric is good/solid player.

Yeah if Saric is playing well enough to demand that much of a raise that's a good thing. We don't want him playing at a 10 mil per year level. Can't have it both ways
Guys only 24 with potential at a need position .That's a great asset to have.
