or a 3 and D forward. Not sure how long you wanna start the Payne train whenever KG sits, which will probably increase as the season moves on
I'm trying to get Prince out of the lineup. Teams just do not respect his shot, and they don't have to. Not to mention whenever he gets switched on to a guard, it's over for him. Too old and too slow to stay in front.

If Houston really does continue losing, wouldn't you have to put in a call for Trevor Ariza? Or maybe you can wait for the Hornets to lose a healthy amount of games and go for Nic Batum with hopes to re-sign him after the season. That's what we're missing.

Move Lavine to the starting SG and Wiggins to SF. Then you can find a stretch 4 to play alongside Towns.
Martin and Payne for Love?

You guys are taking this much more maturely than me...I see a playoff team, and I really wanted that win. But I get what you're all saying...there were some terrific performances by our guys tonight, and it was fun to watch. I just think this was a game we could have won. Sam's lineup where he left Bazz on Fournier for so long really killed us I thought.
Oh well...home for Detroit and Philly. If that doesn't end up with two wins, then I'll be disappointed.

Yeah, not to put all the blame on Prince as he did great work earlier in the game, but he kind of let us down in the end. First was the Elfrid Payton switch where he crossed up Tay and got to the hoop. Then there was the Fournier 3, with a fairly poor contest.
I realize they like to save Wiggins for end-of-game offensive heroics, but part of me wonders if he should have checked Fournier in OT. He should have had enough in the tank or may be not?

Holy sheeyot Big Kat was practically crying in the post game interview. Beyond the amazing skill set the guy has he wants to win so bad it kills him. Thank god we have this beast.

Tough loss, was only following on game cast. You can see these young guys are not gonna be ok with "just improving". They want wins and now. I like the attitude Sammich is bringing.

Really? He could go down as a Minnesota legend some day. I mean, seriously. Has anyone ever combined such a combination of values, personality, and talent all in one package?
Eh, I probably shouldn't fawn over him too much, as athletes are humans too and can profoundly disappoint their fans. But man, on the surface, this kid is just an unbelievable gift.

Mitchell and Skiles seem sort of similar. Hard nosed, old school dudes. The question is IF we get good - I mean really good, not 7th or 8th seed good - is Mitchell the right guy for a veteran playoff team that by then is sound in the fundamentals and team defensive culture?

Keep in mind that KAT only lost once last year and I'm guessing he didn't lose much in high school. He's definitely not used to losing which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. You can't win them all so you just have to forget about losses and move on to the next game.
