I hope LST is ok, his enthusiasm was reaching a dangerous level and now this loss...

That was frustrating. We win the game with better free throw shooting.

Why not inbound the ball to Towns or Bjelica, fake the hand-off to Wiggins on the inbound and let stretch big shoot? Similar to how K-Love used to do. Teams respect the inbounder cutting hard to get the hand-off, all the big has to do is turn and shoot as the big roams over to contest Wiggins (or Martin, whoever the inbounder would be).

Well, disappointing loss for sure, but a reminder that this team isn't supposed to win a lot of games this year. While Towns once again oozed with potential (the late 3-ball, followed by a blocked shot was just a small window into his vast potential. His diversity of skills is unbelievable. 5-tool player!!!), he also got the rookie hazing treatment from the officials and corralled only 5 rebounds. He'll need to do better than that.

Unless it's a dunk or free throw, Wiggins cannot buy a shot. 5-17. He has got to start making some shots.

KG showed us why he's a near zero on offense with a late game turnaround that didn't even touch rim and two missed free throws. It is what it is - he's not going to make big shots for us, which is why it's critical Wiggins does.

It was good to see the defense buckle down at the end, but it wasn't enough.

Also, why on earth did Mitchell go to Wiggins in the post when we absolutely needed a bucket to tie the game? Really? Over Towns? Really?

Well I am starting to calm down, tough loss. I don't like when people say the wolves are not suppose to win a lot of games this year, if the wolves are going to take the next step they need to win the games against "bad" teams on there home court. Well on to the next one (man I am a bumbling idiot when I watch games, no objectivity at all). Deep breath

I figure we have to take our lumps in order to get better. Lots of things to learn out of this one. But better plays by any number of guys could have produced a different outcome.

The NBA will come out and say the jump ball foul on only Towns was a mistake. And I swear the strip on KMart at the end was all arm, but they never showed a better angle on it.

Good thing I didn't go and do anything stupid, like predicting an 18-0 start.

They are starting a rookie Center, 2nd year wing, two over-the-hill vets way past their prime, and only one guy that is in the sweet spot of his career. It's a similar story off the bench. We won 16 games last year. If we can win 10 more this season, that's not a bad step forward.

Not going to fault Mitchell for that. Towns will get his turn eventually, plus Wiggins is MUCH more likely to draw a whistle whereas Towns is still going through rookie hazing.

The out-of-bounds play for a 3.....that is probably worth getting upset about.
