I always thought real world Jerry was more of a supporting character to his castmates, but this one ^^ is pretty funny!

Without Bazz we lose by 30.

The irony is that the Sixers looked to us in tweaking their re-building process by getting Carl Landry back into the fold, adding a veteran-ish PG in Ish Smith, and now signing Elton Brand. They have definitely been more competitive lately, but still, on paper, who has more raw talent, us or them? We probably do, but perhaps our guys aren't as talented as some of us think they are.
Taylor could go ahead and fire Mitchell, but then what? Without a POBO decision, it would only mean yet another interim situation for someone. Does anyone here want Sid Lowe coaching this team? Anyone....Bueller?
So I suspect we basically flounder from here on out, win about 20 games total, and see another regime change this summer along with a high draft pick......Been there done that - tough to get excited when countless regime changes and lottery picks in the past failed to move the needle.

Why not get serious on Flip's position now and beat the rush. No interim but a real hire. JVG.

Bazz has been on the rise since that Knicks game where he almost got ejected. To bad the rest of the team is trending in the opposite direction.

I never got the impression that Glen wanted that role combined, unless you are suggesting that he hire JVG strictly as POBO. But even then, he'd want to wait a bit to fully evaluate Mitchell (that's the politically correct thing to do even if his mind is mostly made up before he takes the job).

Exactly! I don't see a single reason why the PBO should not be actively pursued and hired ASAP.

They're a third of the way through the season and regressing, how much further evaluation is required?

Yeah, I do think that's a good idea at this point; I just don't see it impacting the coaching situation in the near term.
