He's a very good prospect in his own right, but I think we're sleeping on one of our very own draft-and-stash guys: Bojan Dubljevic. Two-time Eurocup Rising Star award winner (2013, 2014). Two-time All-Eurocup 2nd team. Mirotic has two MVPs on him, but they're similar in almost every aspect. Stretch bigs from Montenegro with somewhat refined post games. Not much of a defensive presence, but they get buckets. Dubljevic is someone to really keep an eye on.

Considering how indifferent Flip is to Euro prospects in general, how much attention do you really think he's giving someone like him?

Well, Flip did draft him last year... And talked about him this off-season as someone who needed another year of seasoning overseas. So, I'd say he's getting plenty of attention from Flip.

Rumor has it the Celtics are back in. What would we want from them post draft? Smart would need to be included for me.

Traded to Cleveland or not at all.

Wiggins, Thompson, Waiters and contract fillers for Love and Budinger. I wouldn't even need a 1st rounder from them.

The potential star power we'd have on this team with two 19-year olds would boost my optimism ridiculously high. Honestly, I'd even go as far to say that the Wolves would have the most intriguing young talent in all of basketball. Only team to rival that would be Philly, but they have big injury concerns.

I'm solidly in the camp that Love needs to be traded, but of course I want Flip to wait until he gets a return that is sufficient. I don't think that any of these deals are officially on the table, but I would be comfortable with any of them...in order of preference.

Chicago: Love and Bud or Martin in exchange for McDermott, Mirotic, Gibson and Butler. I might still take the deal if only one of Gibson and Butler were included.

Cleveland: Love and ? for Wiggins, Thompson and ?. If we give up Martin in the deal, I would want Waiters included in return so we aren't shut out at SG, but otherwise, I don't want him.

Golden State: Love and Bud or Martin for Thompson, Lee and Barnes.

Houston: Love and Bud for Parsons, Jones and Troy Daniels.

Flip is in a powerful position, because it appears there continue to be multiple suitors for Love, which should lead to a better return. I'm also convinced Love can not be here next year and that we will have a better chance of long-term success without him. Adding the players in above deals, subtracting the Love distraction, and replacing Adelman with Saunders would make me excited about next season.

If the Wolves can find a way to unload 2 or 3 of the contracts sitting around 5 mill I wouldn't mind a scenario where it's something like:

Love & bud/wing for Wiggins, Thompson, Waiters, Jack & 2 first round picks (1 being directly for taking on Jack)

If Martin was still on the roster he could play the 6th/7th man role, Would depend on if JJ is on the team and what other wings are left.

MIN: Wiggins' rights, Waiters, Thompson, Thornton, Gee (cut), Hopson (cut)

CLE: Love, Budinger

BRK: Jack, Shved

It all works out under the CBA. LeBron would then be able to sign a max deal with Cleveland. Minnesota gets a nice haul for their star power forward. Brooklyn replaces Livingston in their backcourt.

For the Wolves, they'd have a bit of a logjam at SG, but it's not that big of a deal. Martin and Thornton still have value around the league. At the very worst, we're stuck with Martin as a sixth man and Thornton as an expiring contract. Ideally, you'd like to move Martin for a big.

PG: Rubio / Barea / LaVine
SG: Waiters / Martin / Thornton
SF: Wiggins / Brewer / Muhammad / Robinson
PF: Thompson / TBD
C: Pekovic / Dieng / Turiaf

There would have to be a pick or 2 involved for sure. CLE is already offering a 1st to teams in order for the to take Jack of there hands completely. So probably at least a 1st to BRK.

Not really a fan of Waiters, Martin & Thornton all at SG. In that scenario I'd hope Martin was unloaded to a team that needs bench scoring or a shooter. I could see CLE using him. Good shooter next to Lebron & Kyrie. Would take some work to get that done though.

Here's a highlight video of Waiters. Take that with a grain of salt obviously. He definitely fairly talented & has some nice moves though. I haven't seen much from him either though.
