There's also a good chance Rubio, Martin and Pek come back and we fall from top-three to top-six or seven. I don't know about you guys, but that'd be a good spot to grab Cauley-Stein. Best defensive big in the class. Great fit with the pieces we currently have too. Just another name in the hat.

Watching Bobby Portis game video now. Hard to not like the kid. Explosive he is not, but boy is he a complete basketball player on both sides. Great team player too.

Stop me if you've heard this before... I really like Michigan's best player. Caris LeVert.
Edit: He's a better Nik Stauskas! :-d

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement considering how poorly Michigan players have been translating to the league in recent years. It's honestly becoming the new Syracuse.

Says the guy who always preaches to allow players three years or so to prove themselves... Okay.

Stauskas is putting up worse numbers than Bennett did last year. Does that make him garbage because that's what you labeled Bennett as last year? I do preach 3 years but since you have never been on that bandwagon why are we not allowed to call out players when they are garbage immediately out of the gate? Or is that something only you can do?

Caris LeVert seems like a 2nd rounder to me at this point. The thing that worries me is he is a junior and the players he has not beaten out have not really done much in the NBA. Add in that Michigan is horrible that really worries me.

Didn't you say Aaron Gordon was a 2nd round prospect to you? Yeah...

I think it was someone else. I just didn't see him as a high lottery pick based on how bad of a shooter he was in college. I got flashes of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 2.0.

I agree with avoiding Levert like the plague. I see bust for sure.
