Detroit gave Villinueava and Ben Gordon those ridiculous contracts a few years ago so it comes as no surprise they gave Meeks 3 years 19 Mil. They never learn.

These contracts being handed out make Brewers and to a lesser extent Budingers not look too bad at all.

Thank god we don't have the cap space.

Don't retiring players still get paid at least some for their contract anyway?

From ESPN.com's Marc Stein: "Sacramento, Charlotte, Minnesota, Orlando and the champs from San Antonio all calling, I'm told, about Brooklyn free agent Shaun Livingston. ... Nets are limited by what they can pay to keep Livingston after all that luxury tax they paid. Bound to struggle to re-sign him at this rate."

From Michael Lee of The Washington Post: "Trevor Booker is an unrestricted free agent & has attracted interest from several teams including Miami, Minnesota, Utah, Brooklyn, New York, Orlando and Washington."

I like Booker for the right price. He would offer him the minimum. I didn't see Ed Davis mentioned at all. He surelly has some issues because he looks to have some untapped potential.

Anyone interested in Jameer Nelson? Might be able to get him for MLE as a bsckup PG. Has something left in the tank. Might be a good locker room guy. I could see a Full MLE for year one with a team buyout option of 2M for year 2 and 1M for year 3.

Honestly it has to be pretty tough to build this team not knowing what is going on with Love. Basically it seems like we need to weight until the Lebron and Carmelo sign.

What I would do to see the #Wolves sign-and-trade for Lance Stephenson. Martin + Bud. Offer Lance $12M per to come to Minnesota.

No rumors about Luc Ridnour. He would be a sold backup PG for cheap.

lol 12? His market isn't sounding very good right now. They're trying to find leverage against the Pacers to get them to pony up, but no dice so far. Probably looking at closer to 8 than 12, at least I'd hope so.

Cavs is reportedly preparing a max deal for hayward. This pretty much put the lebron back to cavs and love to cavs rumors to rest.

Avery bradley 4yrs 32 m to resign with boaton. Yikes. Seriously 8m for a sg with pg size? Bradley is a good role player but 8m??

Meanwhile, down in San Antonio, Pop and the Spurs are sitting in a big room with cigars and scotch and laughing at this free agency circus.
