After the Toronto game, this thread becomes the most relevant thread on the board. I have joined Cam on the Stauskas bandwagon. I like almost everything about his game, and appreciative his cocky edge too...just what this team needs. But I also noticed that Terran Petteway probably put Nebraska into the NCAAs (over my Gophs) with his 26 and 10 tonight. Stauskas had a lot of help in Ann Arbor, but Petteway put the Huskers on his back and led them to an improbable 11-7 record in the Big Ten. It's heartening that two guys like that, and maybe McDermott too, will be available when the Wolves pick. I like both of them better than Gary Harris.

Pardon my French, but we simply need guys that won't be bitches when shit gets tough. Shabazz is a good start, but they need more guys that have an edge. I want a guy that comes to this team and absolutely hates everything about us and wants to change it any way he can. None of this I-am-happy-to-be-here stuff. Get some gamers.

And value every pick. I don't care if our only additions are 3 rookies, someone has to develop these guys correctly. We don't have players we can brag about.

On the court though, they have to show that they can be two way players. Plain and simple.

Im sold on stauskas as a viable option as well. He is not only a good shooter but a good ball handler and passer as well. We dont have a wing like that now.

I couldn't agree more, wolf, and that's what I like about Stauskas and Petteway. They are two-way players with a nasty edge to them. I think Love has that edge too, and so does Muhammad. Pek doesn't, but he's so big and physical, he can be effective. And Rubio's sweet personality masks an underlying burning desire to win. I would love to see a new guy coaching a starting five of Pek, Love, Shabazz, Rubio, and one of the Big Ten SGs. Have Martin and Bud come off the bench for instant offense, Dieng for defense, and Corey for energy.

I wonder if the Bucks are sick of OJ Mayo. He seems to be that mold. Maybe LRMM and Shved for him.

I would love this Petteway kind in the 2nd round.

I would have been all over this idea before the trade deadline. Now, I'd rather have the two expiring contracts instead of Mayo at $8M per.

LRMM is 2 more years. I think it is the only way we get rid of him.
