Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
I think it’s clear there are no remaining prospects TC likes. I would think he got a couple future 2nd rounders from the Lakers but we don’t know yet. So he’s just trading down to accumulate some future 2nd rounders picks. Boston certainly did a better job of leveraging pick 32 for future 2nd rounders, but we’ll have to look at the combined return for both pick 31 and pick 36 for a fair comparison.

Javon Small please.
Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
Context to the trade:
Sending *out* cash in a trade hard caps a team at the 2nd apron, *receiving* cash does not.
So the Wolves are *not* hard capped at the 2nd apron with this move.

So again, a replay of 2024 minus the need to dump Wendell Moore's salary

Also keep in mind, whoever we draft is gonna be on a two-way

I would think this cash would be on this league year so I'm not sure if any of this matters.

I don’t understand it either.Monster wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 7:58 pmI would think this cash would be on this league year so I'm not sure if any of this matters.

2nd apron team can't offer cash in trades. The perception was that because we're in the 2nd apron that we couldn't accept cash in a deal
