If we can't move him, we may just buy JJ out to make room for GRIII. JJ is no longer a fit on this team.

Darren Wolfson @DarrenWolfson
End result on GR-III can very well be him landing in the D-League w/ #Twolves holding rights. Doubt he forces their hand signing the tender.

This very well could be the best situation for the Wolves. Basically getting 1 extra year out of him.

Whadaya mean?!? Everyone here says that can't happen! ;-)

[ Edit: I believe the key here is the Wolves offer a tender but tell him not to take it. ]

I was the person saying the strongest that you couldn't hold a player's rights in the Dileague but now I do believe I was wrong and I am more than happy to do so. I think I was wrong before but they did change the rules this year so that might be a factor in it being even more clear. If Flip can keep GR3 in a D-league system for a year that would be optimal. It seems like that's a real possibility. Heck the Thunder are having their 1st round pick sign for a d-league team that was why they drafted him as high as they did. Since the Wolves don't have their own affiliate team I think they would probably still like the idea of having GR3 on the roster if they had a spot for him but maybe not. GR3 as a pick and stash in the D-league would be fantastic at this point though. I'd rather have some sort of bench vet over GR3 on 15 man roster since the team is overall really young and at PF and PG if we have an injury we would be playing young guys a lot of minutes which could work out but it would be nice to have a safety net if the goal is not to suck this year. Lol

I wouldn't go quite as far as this writer but it would be interesting to see Shved get some consistant minutes and see what he does. For the Sixers its not going to hurt anything.

Interesting take from this writer, and kudos to him for pointing out how much better Lexi's stats are when he gets big minutes. I still think ultimately he will always be intimidated by the NBA game and never achieve the comfort level he enjoyed playing with the Russian national team, but this at least is a stat-supported optimistic take by a Philly fan.

Barea is playing for the PR team that is only down 5 to the US at the half. Zgoda must thing he's gone because he tweets "Catch him while you can".

So Windhorst is reporting that Barea, not Moute is being moved to the Sixers

I'm totally cool with that, I'm a huge fan of Moute and a huge critic of Barea. Moute still won't get any playing time though, so that kind of sucks.

Now Krazyinzhwfkdh just said that it is Moute NOT Barea.

That 6.3 million dollar trade exception is nice. They could potentially pick up a nice player or a draft pick while facilitating a trade in the next year.
