He can do the Beasley thing play in China for a few months make a nice chunk of money then come over here and make a few hundred thousand on a playoff team that hopes they can find lightning in a bottle. He would be better served playing in a Europe league where he might figure out how to play within a team and if he actually shows something it will be worth considering.
All-talent but has issues team that are not signed by an NBA team but could be playing (no injuries holding them back or being old)
Ty Lawson
Lance Stephenson
Michael Beasley
Josh Smith
Larry Saunders (at least he has chosen his fate)
On talent alone that's a nice collection of players. Anyone else you want to add?
Larry Sanders is not available (RIP). How about Hank Kingsley?

Did I miss something as to why Sanders isn't available? I would love to take a flyer on him.

Jason meant Gary Shandling, the actor that played Larry Sanders in the TV show of the same name and who recently died. Most of Jason's references to pop culture or sports date back to the 80s and early 90s for some odd reason.

Replace "odd" with "old" and you'd have your reason!

That is a strong list.

I know a guy that's a pastor and college professor that has a strong resemblance to Gary Shandling. It's not just the way he looks either it's the speech and some similar movements etc as well. It's amusing and a bit bizarre as well.

Yes, I should be referencing something young and hip like Judd Apatow. What's that? Apatow was a writer/producer/director for the "Larry Sanders Show". Well, I guess that's out. Maybe SP and Q can just give a list of approved reference-worthy items.
I tend to joke about Larry Sanders the player a lot because I have zero respect for him for three reasons. #1 He became a staunch ganja advocate AFTER signing his guaranteed contract so nice courage there pal. #2 Ganja makes you worse at sports so it is no better than Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin bragging about their beer consumption. #3 And lets just say he never blazed up in his life, much like absolutely-hetero Chris Kluwe can't shut up about non-hetero rights. Well Tex you shoot 55% from the line so maybe back away from the Gateway (warning; 90's reference) and go practice a little.

I know someone raised baptist in South Dakota who is the spitting image of Jerry Seinfeld, even down to the suppressed "I-shouldn't-be-laughing-but-it-is-too-funny" smile. First name Tim?

Nope but that's interesting. I'm actually not sure where this guy is originally from now that I think about it but probably the south or at least the south east area based on where he went to college etc.

This may be part of the explanation of why Ezeli ended up being cheap this offseason.
