Wiz already beat the Spurs which is nice.

Ok time to watch the Blazers Pels. Let's go Blazers. Whew what a last few seconds of this one. Holiday had 2 big blocks late in this game and Soloman Hill had some nice plays. Nukic was a big factor around the basket on both ends and Dame had 20 in the 4th. Man it would be nice to have a dynamic guard that can just score from anywhere. Blazers win which is good for the Wolves. The Blazers can have that 3rd seed. The rest of them are still up for grabs.

Great night for the Wolves with the Pelicans, Spurs and Nuggets all losing. None of these outcomes were surprising, but they are all welcome. So the door remains open for the Wolves to capture the 6th, 5th or even the 4th seed. Finishing in the top 6th should be expected given the Wolves' strength of schedule relative to the Wolves' rivals. But our Wolves have given us little reason to believe they won't screw things up.

Monster -- I agree completely that it would be great to have a dynamic guard of the type you described. I actually think it's essential in today's NBA to compete for a championship. Just for fun, I'll pose this question. With the benefit of hindsight and a time machine, would you turn down the Butler deal as Wolves GM and use our pick to take Donovan Mitchell? He has the makings of the sort of dynamic guard you're talking about as does Zach LaVine. Mitchell also brings great defense to the table.

Dang, wish the Clippers would have lost last night too to give us a little more breathing room with the 9th seed, but I guess that would have been a lot to expect since they were playing Phoenix. Otherwise, we had things go our way last night.

Oh right, it changed today. But wouldn't that be the biggest kick in the nuts if that happened? Clippers are coming on strong...

Close game between the Spurs and Thunder. The Spurs are up by 4 with 1:24 left.
