I watched the condensed game from yesterday this morning. Gibson had some walks but I don't mind that so much if you have a plan and you would rather walk a guy than give up an extra base hit etc.
The offense showed up. For being a big guy and overweight Sano seems to run pretty well. There were a couple times he was really hustling down the line after hitting a grounder. I hope he can get in better hope (drop some weight) as the season goes on. I don't think that's impossible to hope for.
I watched a couple other condensed games around the league. Has KC's bullpen fallen apart so much that they had to put some dude Maurer in the game that had an above 5 era in the 8th inning? I mean as a Twins fan it's great to see KC lose (unless the White Sox end up not sucking) but it seemed weird.
Also it was fun to see old man Icharo rob someone of a HR in the outfield in that Cleveland Mariners game.

Literally the central is going to be a mess for next couple years which is perfect for us.
Tigers rebuilding
White Sox rebuilding
Royals rebuilding
Indians are literally a year or two away from having to pay there guys and there already starting to lose that awesome bullpen if there's in guys like Shaw and they also lost Santana.
The twins have young guys locked up and have even more coming this why everyone is bottoming our because just like the Sixers and Astros the process works
Side note if we have this good of starting pitching we will win 90+ games this year our offense is so potent this year.

Fun game yesterday. Gibson wasn't super great but He also had some bad luck behind him. He still seems to stay composed more than he did before. I think that's a significant difference. I think in the past he would have either gave up at least 2-3 more runs or been lifted after like 2 innings. Hopefully he keeps being a bit more than serviceable...which would make him the best Twins 5th starter in a long time.
Gotta love these guys hitting. Buxton looks lost but I have faith he will come around.

I stayed up to watch the 16 inning game and what a treat it was. Our bullpen is so much better than it was last year. Presley looks like the pitcher we always thought he could be. The only one not firing so far in hildenberger. Hopefully he can figure it out his breaking ball doesn't look as sharp this year very loopy.
When do we start worrying about Logan Morrison?
Btw Romero and Gonsalves are dominating triple A so far with sub 2 era, this team is truly loaded with young talent.

I'm jealous you watched that whole game.
Hildenberger has looked very hittable. Hopefully he can get back on track. Presley has been really good hopefully it continues.
With Morrison at this point it's worrisome but the guy has been a major league player for quite a while and so it seems likely this is the worst of it and he will come out and not be an automatic out. I mean even if he regressed back to what he was before his breakout last year that's quite a bit better than he has been obviously.

These last couple games against the Rays have been a bit frustrating. Moya is going down for Hughes.

Twins have never played well in Tampa and it's my fault that I jynx the bullpen lol

Just watched the condensed version of the 3rd game of the series. Yuck. Hopefully they can put that series behind them and stuff. Fortunately Cleveland hasn't run away with a big lead on the Twins.
Also I'm disappointed in the condensed version of game this year. They are 6-7 minutes when they used to be 10-13 or so. There is a lot of action you miss. I'm gonna end up watching more full games this year but will probably start watching more when the NBA playoffs are over. I did send them feedback it probably won't do any good but I figured I would at least let them know what my preference is.

This has been a tough 6 game losing streak. Rays and Yanks have just crushed balls. Their also have been some positives from various players but this is a bit deflating even if it's a long season.

This losing streak is not good.
Positives from yesterday's game include Morrison might be on track.
Negatives include Duffy has been absolutely crushed in 2 games and I've been a guy that's been a fan of his but yiiiiiiiikes. Also how much longer does Hughes get? Mejia isn't an option right now because he is on the DL blister on his finger.
