Little research on him, great shooter, signed with the best team in Europe who was out on loan where he played well. 19 years old

Matteo Spagnolo is the most Italian name ever. Chef Boyardee and Dino Martino are so jealous.

Spagnolo is practicing with the team in Vegas. I saw one pic via Twitter of him next to Wendell Moore Spagnolo looks a little taller. Hopefully we get to see him in Summer league.

Below is some kinda unique footage from a guy from draft junkies that was there live and filmed him from the baseline. Spagnolo made some nice plays for others and supposedly this one against one of the better teams in the Italian league.

Thanks for the find monster.

Not blown away by Spagnolo, but that opening shot of Bologna makes me want to go to Italy again (it's not too far from us here in Germany, so it's a common vacation spot for people who know German food is pedestrian at best--other than their baked breads and pastries).

Seriously, if you guys ever have a chance to visit Europe, check out Italy. Great food. Good wine. Laid-back lifestyle. Historic architecture. You've got ancient Roman stuff all over the place, plus all the Renaissance art. Mountains (the Dolomites!), beautiful Alpine lakes, the Mediterranean coast. Fashion and interior decorating are really stylish, if that's your thing. Seriously, everybody thinks the French are the most stylish people around, but it's really the Italians. And ah, the food! Viva l'Italia! Avoid the really crowded tourist attractions though.

I was talking to a woman yesterday at a neighborhood gathering for the 4th that was just in Italy to visit family there for a few weeks. She is from Russia originally and she has family that immigrated to Italy, so she has experience with a few different cultures. She pretty much said the same thing....great food and very laid-back. Meals start later in the evening and can last a loooong time. She loved it, but when I asked her if she'd ever want to live there, she said "no way!". We didn't get into why, but I found that interesting.

I'm actually planing to go to Italy sometime in the next year. It was at the top of My Wife's list of next places in a Europe to visit and my oldest Niece is going to spend the next school year studying abroad in Florence. I was looking up plan tickets yesterday I was thinking of flying into Milan and flying out of Rome or the other way around. The costs is about the same And I figured it would be a good way to see another city.

One of the best parts about visiting Europe is the bread and pastries they are so good.

I love Italy! We have a family connection there. Great food and great people. And of course, great history - the cradle of Western Civilization.
