Former Wolves Thread

Thought I'd create a spot for anyone to log any interesting news/notes/updates on former Wolves. I was looking at box scores and noticed our former #6 overall Jarrett Culver has gotten a little run lately. And he has had some moderate success. I'm not saying he's turned the corner. But I still root for the guy. Looks like he's rebounding the ball well posting close to double doubles in a few recent games.

I realize bumping your own thread is like giving yourself a nickname - but I'm doing it anyhow.
I noticed another former Wolf getting a little run lately - McKinley Wright. If you recall, he was part of that nice group of undrafted guys we had which included Naz and JMac. He only played 5 games and 19 minutes for us last year (we didn't need him!). But has already played 8 games/87 minutes for the current 4th seed Dallas Mavs including each of their last 6 games (all wins). In fact, in the spirit of last year's board mantra "Wolves Record when KAT/DLO play", I'll mirror that methodology and confidently state the following facts:
Maverick's record when McKinley Wright IV plays is 6-1 (.857).
Maverick's record without McKinley Wright IV is 16 - 15 (.516).
Dude is probably in line for a max contract - Go McKinley!

Noah Vonleh traded to the Spurs and they waived Gorgui (I'm guessing his career is over)

Oh wow. Thanks for posting. Gorgui was one of my favorite Wolves back in the day. I tend to root for the over achiever/Rudy types. Maybe someone will pick him up for the playoffs. But if not, he had a nice career.
Fun facts...Gorgui is top ten for Wolves in numerous categories including:
#5 - Games played
#9 - Minutes played
#4 - Total rebounds
#7 - Steals
#3 - Blocks
#6 - Win Shares
