Wolves misses 4 rotation pieces tonight

Minnesota should be better by subtraction tonight if D'Angelo Russell really is a net negative (he's not). I guess we'll see...

However, I don't think this game will be pretty. If Minnesota ends up being competitive it'll have to be because they absolutely muck up the game defensively for 48 minutes, or Anthony Edwards goes for a 50-burger. I'm not optimistic.

I think this is the first time Edwards has faced Kawhi, at least that I can remember. Hopefully that lights a fire for him.

Had to look it up because I thought you were on to something. Kawhi played against Ant in the April 2021 matchup, but that's been it. This is their second time playing each other.

Also, I wish Ant got as hyped up to play Kelly Oubre, for instance, as he does Kawhi and LeBron.

I agree with you completely on his motivation. His next level will be being able to perform when the lights are off.

Clippers are just sucking tonight. That likely won't last.
