Probably the first time I've watched the dunk contest in a decade. I grew bored of it long ago, but with LaVine in it, I wanted to check it out. He really makes it look easy, doesn't he? Impressive.
The young Wolves getting the spotlight this weekend. Now we just need to get some of them in the actual all-star game!

Could not be more happy for Zach tonight. Rookie at his age, no real playing time so far....growing pains on the court, and this performance seemed to have absolutely energized not only him, but Shabazz, Wiggins and the rest of the NBA who were on hand. Its things like this, like for Wiggins last night that hopefully give them both, huge confidence building support going forward. I like Zach a ton....maybe more then most on this board, he just needs to find his swagger and Flip needs to start seriously using him properly.

There haven't been game changing dunks like that since Carter, and JR Rider before that. Hopefully Zach has a better career than both of them.

Very impressive night for LaVine. Rarely took him even a 2nd attempt (so glad they changed it to 3 tries from that "3 minutes" or whatever it was before (that allowed Nate Robinson to miss 50 dunks then finally hit one and get a perfect score). That behind the back dunk was sick. And like the commentators mentioned, when he does these dunks he's still going UP. I don't think he's hit his ceiling when it comes to dunk potential, and that's crazy.
It's really got nothing to do with the game itself, but it's nice to see the Wolves getting some pub during All-Star weekend between Wiggins and LaVine.

Not that it was all that great of a prediction, but I said he would win it before it was even announced he was in it. It was a complete mismatch
The behind the back dunk was sad. As Kenny said he was still elevating when he slammed it home. The best performance I have ever seen in the contest was the Vince Carter win. Now I'm not so sure.

Great to see Zach take home the trophy tonight. Incredible exhibition. Did you notice how calm he was? He's got a terrific demeanor. Also great to see the comradery among our three talented youngsters tonight. Wiggins seemed to enjoy what Zach was doing more than he enjoyed his own success last night. Note that Zach didn't just stand out tonight as a dunker. He also played really well last night, showing his incredibly quick. Rust of speed and excellent ball handling along with a nice looking perimeter shot. He has all the tools.
We have the makings of something special with this team. Let's hope the time off during the ASB will help get Wiggins back on track with much-needed rest and that Zach's success this weekend will propel him forward the rest of the season.
