Shabazz has been ruled out tonight but Mo will play. GR3 should be able to get at least 10 minutes tonight, right?

Probably going to be watching the NFC playoff game more than the Wolves because, come on

On paper - this wouldn't appear to be a fair contest. I'm not sure the Wolves could beat many D-League teams right now much less the Spurs. But, I guess you never know - right?

I think we have an idea of Thad's defensive abilities when the Spurs have Parker, Duncan and Green on the floor and the play call is a Diaw post up on Thad.

I'm sure of it now - Thad Young IS the worst defensive player in Timberwolves history

I'm at the game tonight. He's much worse in person.

I'm discouraged that our veterans get to play with so little shits given and they continue to get big minutes over the young guys. Thad and Mo look to have no interest in trying very hard at all. I think it is rubbing off on our young guys and it is not good moving forward. There are certain levels of crap play that are unrecoverable long-term.

This means practically nothing considering how many post-ups the Spurs ran for Diaw against Bosh last year in the Finals. But okie doke.

You'd also know that 9/10 times they do it for Diaw to hit the man for the corner three, not looking to score. Tonight he was looking to score.

Also, defending Thad at this point is a joke. He's been terrible this year and he is not showing effort for a majority of every game. Get over it. He hasn't panned out and you can't blame Ricky's injury for him not playing hard.

Yes, Diaw shot 3/11 against Thad, so he really owned him.

Did I say Diaw was good? No. The fact that they were even having him try to score out of the post was my point because he is not a good post scorer. If Diaw destroyed Thad on the block, we would've had to cut him after the game because Diaw is that bad on the block when trying to score.
