I will finalize these picks before the draft but right now, I'm going to list who I think will be the BPA regardless of team need:

1. Wiseman (tentatively, but I am warming up to Killian Hayes as I think he could be the best guard from this draft)

17. Saddiq Bey or Jalen Smith (honorable mention to Tyrell Terry)

33. Paul Reed (honorable mention to Quickley, Oturu and Tyler Bey)

Wiseman, RJ and Tyler Bay. I'm going highest upside for the first two picks. I think Wiseman can play next to Towns and RJ next to Russell and then worst case if we need to blow it up we have two guys who can slot right in to those spots and use the capital from the trades to build around them.

RJ is really the only questionable one on here and my thinking is we still need another ball handler to go with Russell and RJ's more aggressive style is a good counter to Russell's style. RJ also has legit size to guard 2's so defensively while he's raw he has some of the tools to guard both guard spots. He needs to improve his shot and his defense, but he can do what I want a guard to do which is create off the dribble. We can always play Culver or Okogie when we need defensive players on the court in the short-term while we develop RJ for the long-term. Maybe he even spends the year in the G-League just to get playing time, but I think long-term he can be a nice developmental piece. An eventual Russell/Culver/RJ trio might make for a consistent good backcourt.

This looks good to me. I'll just say that there are some guys I like quite about that are based on this like are available After #33. It would be interesting to see the next 20 or so prospects that didn't make it into the top 50.

1. James Wiseman
17. Tyrell Terry
33. Tyler Bey

I'd consider ending up with these three a real coup for the Wolves.

I'd be equally happy if we swapped our pick with Charlotte along with Evans and Spellman in return for the rights to Okongwu and either a future lightly protected first or Miles Bridges. I'd be thrilled if could get PJ rather than Miles by adding our #33 pick to the deal. I'd be less excited if we swapped our pick to Charlotte for the rights to Toppin rather than Okongwu, but I'd still be happy with the result.

#1 C - Wiseman
#17 W - S. Bey
#33 W - T. Bey

Because the 2 Beys kind of standout where you have them slotted I suspect they will both be taken way ahead of our picks. My replacement for those two spots are:
#17 W D. Bane TCU
#33 G T. Alexander Creighton OR W R. Woodard Mississippi State OR F Tillie

I am really warming to the idea of getting Vassell somehow, He is slotted in-between our two first picks - I don't think I have seen anyone bring him up before. This breaks the rules but I would trade 17 and 33 to move up to 9 or 10 to take Vassell - I think he has the potential to be a star and would fit a big need.

I like Vassell too, but I think it would take more than 17 and 33 to move up to 9 or 10, especially as there is a perceived drop off in talent after those picks. I think pick 33 might allow us to move up 4 or 5 spots at most and Vassell is probably gone there.

After the first pick, which I hope is Wiseman, I'd focus on finding guys with the best potential to be 3&D types, especially at the 1, 3, and 4. Saddiq Bey and Josh Green would probably make that list.

Other than finding high usage stars, the hardest thing to find are really good 3&D wings/forwards,
