"Sources: The Indiana Pacers are moving toward rebuild, receptive to trade talks centered on Caris LeVert and either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner.

Which of their star big men are you most interested in?

Sabonis or Turner solve a lot of problems

I would take either of them! But what does a rebuilding team want in return? And what would the Wolves actually give up to make a trade work? I would think that the Pacers would want some salary cap relief and picks.

Naz, picks, and filler?

Sabonis is 19.8M per for 3 years. Turner is 18M per for 2 years.

Gonna take a lot of filler for that to work. Beasley is really the only trade piece we have (Prince is not going to cut it) with the way the $$$ works out.

I'd have a significant amount of interest in Domantas Sabonis, specifically, but I think I still prefer targeting Harrison Barnes at this time. He's definitely not the better player between the two, but I think the Wolves need another real perimeter threat that also keeps the defense performing on a high level. Barnes would theoretically cost less as well.

I'm less and less interested in Myles Turner, however. I think the idea of Turner might actually exceed the player that he is right now.

Sabonis is a great passer, gets rebounds at a high rate, plays good team defense and can score. He just might be a pretty good fit for this team. Would be interesting!

I think Sabonis is a fantastic player. He could play either PF next to KAT or Center next to any combination of others. How much does he solve this team's problems offensively? Not much I'm afraid. I also don't think we have a compelling enough player to return to Indiana.

Actually I think a passing big man that can actually set proper screens would be VERY valuable to this team.
Your point about not having trade value is my biggest concern. We have all of our picks, but we would have to give up Jaden for sure and he is only making $2M.

This isn't directed at you, and I'm not meaning to upset anyone here, but can we as a fan base collectively stop talking about Jaden McDaniels like he's some blue chipper or highly-regarded prospect? I empathized with it over the summer, but he hasn't taken that sophomore step like many of us expected him to.

McDaniels has some tantalizing physical features and plays well defensively when he's not racking up personal fouls. In theory, he's got a high ceiling, but the reality might be that he'll never be the player most want him to be. He may not even be a Mikal Bridges or Robert Covington type player, and those guys are real difference-makers. If he's part of the price for someone legitimate -- an All-Star, for instance -- then we should not be hesitant to make such a deal.
