Some much-needed Optimism thread.

The Wolves are getting better. Consider...

They were down 36 to the Lakers in the 3rd quarter...
But got better the next game... down only 30 to the Clippers in the 3rd quarter...
And they got even better the next game... down only 29 to the Wizards in the 3rd quarter.

Sometimes, you have to take little wins like this to build confidence on the way to a championship.

Now I'm nauseous.

I have watched the Wolves for 20+ years. Never have I seen a more disgusting 3 game stretch of basketball.

I would have rather watched children play.

Yes. I've always wondered whether Abe might suddenly turn negative. But he continues to be a ray of sunshine for all of us in a dark Timberwolves universe.

Where is Tim, he's going to lose his optimism crown at this rate!

What makes me feel good about this franchise?

Naz Reid and McLaughlin. If Edwards isn't at least a solid starter that's gonna be tough but I might be able to live with this front office group if they can actually find guys on the margins like that.

The other positive is Beasley looks like a legit piece to this roster...or as a legit trade chip. Bringing back Juancho looks bad right now but trading for Beasley and giving him that deal looks good. Vanderbilt has shown enough to make me think they aren't idiots for keeping him or wanting him in that deal.

I also like McDaniels but he is much more on the potential side. The guys above (Vanderbilt is more potential) are actually showing something to feel good about.

I actually like Edwards too. I'm starting to think they didn't screw that pick up.

Installment #2 of unabashed OPTIMISM!!!

- D'Angelo Russell is burning the nets.

He's shooting 42.6%... which is above his career average.
And he's never even been close to this good behind the arc (39.5%).

The only downside is that this might be unsustainable, so let's just enjoy the ride while he's still on fire!!!!

Let this be a reminder and warning to all teams in the League, NO ONE scores 200 points on the T-Wolves.
