As a follow up to the last poll, the question here is which of the following players will the Wolves trade if they do, in fact, make a deal by the trade deadline later today?

I voted in the other poll that Rosas will trade somebody today. I voted for Michael Beasley in the above poll because I like skittles and wanted to give Lip a little crap for his post-midnight should-be-in-bed typo, but mostly because I don't have a clue who Rosas is going to trade...I just think he is going to do something.

I can only speak for myself, but I will be pissed if the Wolves trade Michael Beasley. Still just 32-years old, he might be approaching a breakout season anytime now.

1. M. Beasley. (1) There's legit value there. (2) There's possibly legit concern there. (3) How much of his production can be covered by Edwards and Nowell? (4) The Wolves aren't moving Russell... so that's a lot of mouths to feed on the wing on a team built around a big guy.

2. Rubio. (1) Why pay a guy $17M to be a backup on a bad team? Rubio as a starter with Russell didn't work. And they'd have to move Edwards back to the bench, or bench/trade Beasley, or put Edwards at PF to get them all on the court. None of that is happening. (2) Rubio has played infinitely better as a starter. Is this because he was out of shape earlier... trying to find his role... or because he's an auxiliary player who needs to have decent parts around him to excel? Again... why pay a guy $17M to play 20 mpg? It doesn't make sense.

3. Word on the street is the Wolves will move Ed Davis and two more 2nd rd. picks back to NYC for an appearance by James Dolan's band at Glen Taylor's upcoming wedding anniversary party.

Such a shameful oversight that Dolan was ignored at the Grammy's. Only anti-NY hate kept him from bringing home a well-deserved award.

In all seriousness, I think we'll see several trades at the deadline and I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota was a part of multiple even just to help facilitate. Gersson Rosas has already done that twice so far in his tenure. But for the poll I voted Ricky Rubio as I think there will be a couple buyers looking for what he provides. The Clippers definitely make sense to me. I also think Rosas will pursue John Collins all the way down to the wire, but will probably be dangling the 2024 first-round pick more than anything on this list.
