Read yesterday Finch said McDaniels is going to be the focus of our summer league team. Glad to hear it and that will be fun to watch. Also, while Ant is not going to play, Nowell is.

Isaiah Miller has been signed to an exhibit 10 contract so he will be in the summer league. Should be fun to watch he is like 6' tall but supposedly has a 6'8" wingspan and a 50" vertical. I watched some highlights...yeah that looks accurate. Wowzers.
Big man John Egbunu will be playing with the Wolves in Vegas also. In terms of summer league guys he looks a bit intriguing as a strong guy with some athletic ability and some nice shot blocking numbers. You never know what guy might pop but I'm certainly interested in any big guy they bring in.
Guard Karim Mane will also be with the Wolves in Vegas. He was a 2-way with Orlando magic and his G-league stats make Culver's NBA stats look good. Mane didn't go to college.
So...I hope the Wolves add some more guys taller than 6'5".

Just noticed that Kenny Wooten is on Minnesota's Summer League team. He's a player that I liked as an undrafted free agent several years back and then as a two-way addition as recently as last year after his G-League stint. He's got that combo forward body type. He won't win anyone over with his offensive game, but Wooten is a hell of a defender. Along with Jaden McDaniels, Jaylen Nowell, McKinley Wright, and Nathan Knight, Wooten will be someone I key in on.

This gets me excited for Summer League:
Dane Moore
@DaneMooreNBA
Asked Jaden McDaniels about how we've only really seen him in a 3+D role, and if there is a player he watches film of when he envisions himself in an environment where he can play more freely with the ball in his hands.
His answer was Paul George.

Timberwolves Summer League coach Joseph Blair said of Jaden McDaniels in Vegas that "we want to let him loose".
"The one thing we really want him to work on is being more comfortable taking multiple dribbles... He needs to be more comfortable putting the ball on the deck."

Anyone else expecting Jaylen Nowell to light the Summer League on fire before possibly being removed from the roster? The guy decimated G-League competition a year ago and held his own for a good stretch in the NBA. He should be above the talent level here.

Depends, is he taking his optometrist to Vegas for the league? :)

Yeah, seems a bit odd for him to play summer league going into his third year and having received some nice run last season. I wonder if they are going to experiment with him at the point? We have a serious hole at backup PG IMO and I'd like other options besides JoMac and Bolmaro.
