We back!!!!!

McKinley Wright vs Tre Jones
Nowell vs Vassell
McDaniels vs Primo
The debut of Nathan Wright

I like the summer league way to much. Like always we'll see if guys can win themselves jobs. Just think 2 years ago Naz got a full contract from SL. Jmac and Martin both got 2 way contracts from SL and both are probably on legit NBA contracts this year.

Can Rosas do it again.

*my prediction is Wright gets an actual contract and someone balls out and gets the last 2 way

Looking forward to tonight's game for sure. Wish we had a new high draft pick being unwrapped though.

Personally, I won't be losing any sleep over not having Jonathan Kuminga (or comparable) on the team. And it's not a new high draft pick, but there are a few young players that got added to the main roster that I can get excited about. I'm looking forward to seeing McKinley Wright and Nathan Knight in action this Summer League. Wright especially strikes me as a player that could be in the rotation as soon as this season if Jordan McLaughlin isn't back to the 2019-2020 version of himself -- similar to how Jalen Brunson got his role in Dallas. And Knight's got an NBA body, as he should considering he's 23-years old, with an intriguing offensive game. His handle and fluidity off the bounce make me wonder if he was a guard in his early years. If they flop, they flop and forget I said any of this. But I can certainly see a path for both of them to be meaningful NBA players -- drafted or not.

And if Kenny Wooten can show off his defensive proficiency while playing within himself on offense during this stretch of games maybe the Wolves give one of the current two-way guys an NBA deal and lock him into a two-way deal. Wooten was cut from the same cloth Jarred Vanderbilt was in terms of motor and defensive acumen. Can you really ever have enough of those guys at that size? Consider me excited.

Is Ryan Saunders available? He had a good track record in Summer League, lol.

Nathan Knight looks like the best player on the floor early on.

McKinley Wright looks like a sticky defender. No surprise there.

Jaden McDaniels just had a nice take and lefty finish.

That's twice already that Jaden took an extra dribble early on vs. bailing out with the pull up. Good to see.
