Pick who his closest comparison will be.

A more durable Marcus Camby.

Who knows? He only played a few college games. But my guess is Miami Hassan Whiteside. Big stats, and some games he'll really cause problems for opposing teams, but on the whole, I suspect he might be providing empty calories. Filling up a boxscore, but it's not clear how much he'll actually help the team win.

Now, if he does actually develop an outside jump shot, you're looking at a more athletic Brook Lopez, which would definitely be valuable. But that's a big question.

I voted other. I see James Wiseman's best-case scenario being a Chris Bosh, Anthony Davis level big that makes his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Now, comparing him to two likely Hall-of-Famers is unfair, but the kid is extremely talented with physical tools that are generational. I could also see Wiseman being a DeAndre Jordan type depending on the role he's asked to fill.

I forgot about Anthony Davis. He may be most similar to him style and physically. I voted Embiid even though he is less like him, I think there is a slight longshot he can be a point center Giannis freak, because he has a decent handle. I just haven't seen enough of him to even say that is a real possibility though. Gianni was raw coming in as well, but it all matters how the guy develops.

I say his floor is Hassan Whiteside. His ceiling is a more offensively capable version of Rudy Gobert. He's my pick if we keep no 1.

In all likelihood, I think he'll either be a bust or a Chris Bosh.

He either has a passion for the game and competitive zeal or he doesn't. If he does, then his combination of size, athleticism and skill set will make him an all-star and I think his game most resembles Chis Bosh. If he doesn't have a passion for the game as some have suggested, then he'll be a bust. We saw it with Darko, Kandiman and Derrick Williams. No matter how much talent you have, you can't have any success in the NBA if you don't love the game and have a motor that drives you to succeed.
