GDT: Minnesota vs. Detroit

Well, there's not too much analysis required for this game. Minnesota's favored by 12.5 points at home. D'Angelo Russell is back in the starting lineup. The Wolves are far superior to this Pistons team. That doesn't mean that they should let their energy slip like it did last game. I can't begin to describe how frustrating that was to watch, especially from Anthony Edwards as he allowed inferior talents to casually blow by him on the defensive end. If his knees are bothering him to the point where he's incapable of trying to defend, then he needs to sit out and recover. Otherwise, he needs to put out.
I'd like to see a quick and aggressive start from our Wolves in this one. Don't let this Pistons team hang around and think they have a chance. Get up by 20 and leave no doubt about who's the better team. I'm hoping for less mental mistakes and more organization on both ends of the court. Having both Patrick Beverley and D-Lo back should help with that. I'm also curious to see if Jaylen Nowell's minutes are reduced in favor of Jordan McLaughlin. The latter has looked really good as of late and might have earned some more run. We haven't had too many 3:30 PM ET start times this year so I hope you guys don't miss this one thinking it started later (like I almost did)!
