That's super tough for Jordan McLaughlin, but I'm glad he's back on the team nonetheless. Hopefully, he has another good year and the Wolves take care of him next summer.

I wonder how slighted JMac might feel by how this all played out.

If he wanted to get paid more he could of signed elsewhere and put pressure on the wolves to match

Hopefully, none. J-Mac is getting an early taste of the business side of the NBA, but assuming he plays well this year he'll make up for it monetarily in free agency. Minnesota would be wise to retain him. I'm sure there's some level of gratitude to the organization as well for giving him an opportunity and all that.

We saw tonight how simply one little injury immediately would have put him into action for minutes. While it was interesting seeing Culver and Edwards run some sets, they are not point guards. J-Mac knows how to run an offense.

Rubio and DLO will miss some time this year, so I expect J-Mac to be an important part of our depth.

Our 3rd team guys are good! J-Mac, Reid, Nowell, Vandy....If this season becomes a war of attrition, I like our chances!
