After watching Adams and Kanter score at will and after watching Cousins score at will, our clear biggest need is an elite interior defender. Guess who might be available? Watch: http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=13904814

Cousins was raining 3s. But I get your point.

I do hope they're looking for another big.

Okafor, Noel, WCS, or even Bogut.

Tyus Jones and a top-20 protected first-round pick for Nerlens Noel.

Ricky Rubio for Nikola Vucevic.

Ricky Rubio for Greg Monroe.

Two things that gives me pause with noel: injury history and contract situation. How much does he get next season, and how does that affect our ability to sign our core three.

Okafor and WCS 3 years left on their rookie contract. WCS has the familiarity with towns.

Bogut Is an expiring so shouldn't be very expensive.

So the OP is asking about a big who will lock up the paint. And people suggest trades for Vucevic, Okafor and Monroe. HAHAHAHA

Here's a an honest assessment of Noel by a Philly fan:

Noel is definitely one of the best defensive bigs in the game when it comes to guarding players who are smaller than him because he is pretty quick for someone with his wing-span and has good timing both with block and steal attempts.

The problem is that he is not bulky enough to stop heavier front court players with any kind of offensive post moves from scoring on him.

And that's just on defense. His offensive game in the halfcourt is just one giant problem. I can't really think of anything he does even remotely well on offense.

He can run the floor pretty well and finish a fast break. That's about it

He's almost like the height of a power forward with the build of a small forward but with no mid-range game and no post moves

He isn't a good rebounder because he can't use his body to keep other players off the boards because he isn't a big body. And for the longest time the idea was "well once he bulks up he'll be fine"

You know, because adding 40-50 pounds of muscle is something anyone can just make happen

I'd say WCS isn't any better and most likely is just worse.

I wonder if a real NBA analyst with an NBA pedigree would agree with a fan from Philly.
