I am not sure who thought Barnes would be a good mentor for Boogie - I get the feeling they are going to just get worse.

Just pathetic...but is anyone really surprised at this latest news? And yet, the over/under on the next "Let's trade for Boogie" post is 48 hours...and I'm taking the under. Cousins is a remarkably talented player, but just a troubled, despicable human being destined to be behind bars some day...and likely sooner than later. I honestly wouldn't trade Adreian Payne for him straight up...yes, I said that.
I'm calling for a permanent moratorium on any further posts suggesting we should pursue Cousins.

Yeah, we lament about the sorry track record of our franchise in terms of Ws and Ls, but we are pretty lucky to have a great group of guys to cheer for. That's what makes this season all the more frustrating. It seems like all the planets were aligned: Two consecutive ROYs, a coach with a defensive pedigree, good health, and great attitudes. So far all that good will has turned to apathy (by many fans) at the perpetual pattern of losing. But there is still time.....

Well, this further confirms that Matt Barnes is a piece of shit. Boogie Cousins is just Boogie Cousins. The altercations and situations he's been involved with don't scare me off like others. I'd still want him on my basketball team and the reason why is because he's arguably the best center in the game. It's really nothing more than that. I'll take one damn good hooper with a rap sheet over an OKAY hooper with a great attitude. Sorry, boys, they're there to play basketball -- not do volunteer work for the homeless.

I've long been anti-Cousins being anywhere near this basketball team. You will never see me pushing for any trade involving him.
