GDT: Bullish on Thibs 12/13/16

I don't think I've ever started one of these before. But I wanted to make the point that the Wolves are only getting 6.5 points from Vegas tonight. Sounds like they know something and want people to hop on the Bulls. Might be a good sign.

Thibs is going to really want this game. Don't know if our players are quite as competitive as him yet.

It's a winnable game, and my good friend that's a diehard (and educated) Bulls fan doesn't like his team's chances tonight. If we can avoid the long stretch per game where this team completely falls apart, I think we win. I pegged this as a win in my projection and I really need it.

Missing 2 PGs (Rondo and MCW) will bring a spread down...still, 6 1/2 points seems light to me also.
It never feels good to get fired, so you know Thibs really wants this one and will be a little more animated and louder on the sidelines. That bodes well for us because our guys seems to really respond to that style.

Impossible. All I've heard LST talk about is how nearly everyone hates him. This just doesn't add up.

I think you have me confused with someone else, Cam...I don't think the fans were ever that down on Thibs (with the possible exception of his playoff performance). If you win 50+ games, fans are going to like you...heck, we would have liked Kurt Rambis if he had won 50. But if you win 20 (as we are on pace to win) the fans are going to turn on you.
