Juancho Hernangomez does not need to be on this team next season. Omari Spellman should be getting his minutes this season. I will die on this hill.

D-Lo is so nice. It's pretty nice to have a lead guard be able to score for himself and set up teammates. Minnesota hasn't had one this good in a very long time.

Juancho reminds me of Shabazz Muhammad in transition for all the wrong reasons.

That was one of the best defensive possessions of the season for Minnesota.

Josh Okogie and Jarrett Culver have drawn the always-difficult assignment of staying with Jimmy Butler. Good start for both of them as Butler's been relatively quiet through the first quarter.

Wolves have been locked in on both ends tonight through 12 minutes. Holding the Heat to 36.4-percent shooting from the floor. Meanwhile Minnesota is five-of-12 from three. Great ball movement and decision making. It probably won't last, but this is what good basketball looks like.

James Johnson is either going to:
A.) Decline his $16-million player option for the 2020-21 season opening up money for someone else in free agency. Unlikely
B.) Considerably help the Wolves win more games in 2020-21 and perhaps beyond. Possible
C.) Bring back a potentially valuable asset at the trade deadline in 2020-21. Probable
D.) Be used for salary matching purposes in a larger trade this off-season. Possible
Any way you slice it, trading Gorgui Dieng for Johnson was a very savvy yet simple move.

I'm convinced NBA referees have no idea what continuation is anymore.

Josh Okogie is a reliable three-point shot away from being a Robert Covington-like player for Minnesota. That's not an easy thing to get overnight, but I just can't see him not becoming at least league average on solid volume. His mechanics are clean when he's set and he had really solid results at Georgia Tech.
