But another year like this is 100% if they don't tank and hope for it. Change my mind.

The Wolves have a 40% chance of getting a top three lottery draw and keeping their pick. So the Wolves will probably lose their 1st round pick this year. As we know, they've already lost their 2nd round pick, which Golden State used to get Oubre.

Ok 40%. Would you still shoot for it or try to win games with a squad that isn't going anywhere ever.

At the very least this team is ok with losing. There is no reason for them or anyone to think that they are competing for anything this year and logic would compel me that they would rather have a 40% chance at keeping their pick than a 25% or less chance of keeping it. If they wanted to compete they would have made roster/coaching moves to remedy their situation and have not. The message continually seems to be wait and see. I think it is tanking and do believe they are welcoming a last hope to keep the pick. Best case scenario they move up a few spots and have a worse shot at keeping the pick. Ultimately it doesn't matter, whether its active or passive, this team is tanking.

Maybe the basketball gods will bless us with Cade Cunningham. In a sad way, I'd consider this season a success if that were to happen. But as it's been pointed out already there's only a 40-percent chance of keeping the pick.

Wolves will have a 40% of keeping their pick if they have the worst record, 2nd worst or 3rd worst record odds don't change.

Wolves are currently 4 GB of the Wizards who currently would be the team with the 4th worst record and would change the Wolves lottery odds of keeping their pick.

Very good chance Wolves will have a 40% when the season is done keeping their pick. Tanking or not tanking. Wolves would still try to win though because being the 3rd worst team would increase the chances of the warriors getting a worse pick even though it does not change the wolves odds of keeping their pick

Lightning strikes as in the Wolves get the #1 pick again. Yes. Let's hope so. And then we have to hope that Rosas has the good sense to pick Cade Cunningham.

Even though we know it will never happen how would Cade fit in with our team? How do you see him fitting with Edwards?

Well, the Wolves will likely finish with one of the three worst records in the NBA. That means they'll have a 14% chance of getting the top pick. So I wouldn't say it will never happen. How would Cade fit with this team? Incredibly well. A great talent like Cade with his elite basketball IQ, PG skills and 6'8" length, would fit great with any team. I could see him playing with DLO and Edwards, along with McDaniels and KAT, as our part of our starting lineup. He can score and be a playmaker. As we've seen so far this season, Edwards is an unselfish player who is actually a good passer. Right now, it's only a dream, but sometimes dreams come true.
