Reading Draymond Green's college scouting report from DX was pretty funny. They had his 'tweener size and defensive skills as major liabilities. Wowzers. As it turns out, he almost has the ideal build for a jack-of-all-trades defensive presence: Strong enough to guard guys in the post; nimble enough to guard guys on the perimeter; and long enough arms to make up for his less-than-conventional-height.

Sometimes people dig too much, but at the same time, basketball prospects are so hard to predict. For every Draymond there's a hundred Malcolm Lee, for every Parsons there's another hundred guy who doesn't make it out of summer league.

However, you don't find any of those guys if you don't ever draft them.

I really wanted Guillermo Hernangomez last year. He ended up with the Knicks. He was Kristaps Porzingis teammate. Looks like he might come over this year.
