Watching the game tonight. Playing ignite who have 3 possible lotto picks on the team including a guy who could go #1

Wolves D has been fantastic and Bolmaro significantly the best player on the floor through the 1st Q

10 1st Q pts for Bolmaro including 2-2 from 3. He's probably too good for the G-League

Bowen has shot well but outside of Bolmaro I don't think there is anyone close to an NBA player on this Iowa roster

Hopefully there will be highlights of this game on YouTube later. I'd like to see what his game looks like in a faster-paced and open court.

I'm not watching the game but there are multiple beat writers on Twitter who are there to watch the ignite team and its potential draft prospects. They said they ended up focusing and being blown away by Leandro.

I watched the whole game. Bolmaro looked really good, but I thought Bowen looked at least as good if not a little better. I didn't look at the stats until after watching the game and the stats confirmed that Bowen's play was on par with Bolmaro's. I'd say those two were the only true NBA-caliber players I saw playing for the Iowa Wolves against the Ignite. Matt Lewis had 20 points and was shooting the lights out from behind the arc. He's someone to watch. He played at James Madison and will turn 23 in December, so he's still fairly young. McKinley Wright played some great defense and showed some nice passing skill, but he's a pretty bad shooter and he's not good enough in other areas to overcome his size disadvantage without being a good shooter. Isaiah Miller didn't do much, but there might be an NBA player in there. He's so fast and bouncy and seems to have a nice feel for the game. Unfortunately, he's a worse shooter than Wright. But maybe he can fit that. Ruot Monyyong looked terrible. If there's a big on that roster with NBA potential it's more likely Silva than Monyyong based on what I saw in this one game.

Bolmaro's shot was falling, but his form is pretty funky. Of course, former Timberwolf, Kevin Martin, had a funky release but had a great career as a shooter. So as long as Bolmaro's keeps going in, I'm fine with it. He's definitely fun to watch. The two most impressive things about him that stood out for me were his rebounding and his speed with the ball. His 10 rebounds provide statistical confirmation for my observation about his rebounding. His speed with the ball is something you have to see. It's part of why I see him becoming a good NBA player.

I can confirm everything you said here. I will add that Wright was blowing past people and he and Miller were easily the quickest players on the floor. Wright showed way more playmaking and passing skill than I saw in SL so that was encouraging. He looked better with more shooting around him. Bowen is a guy I really like as a do it all type forward. IDK if he can make 3's but if thats something he can do he could be a reasonably valuable bench guy. Monyyong was horrendous. Silva played well in the first half but wasn't as good in the 2nd half. The Wolves fouled alot and Silva was limited in minutes because of that. Lewis IDK if he is an NBA player but he is a classic SG that looks like a guy that has talent to shoot, handle the ball a bit and seems very smart and steady. If thats who he is he will be really valuable to the Iowa Wolves this season. That may have been the worst professional game I've ever seen from Canyon Berry. Normally he is a smart steady player but he looked really bad in the first half and wasn't a whole lot better in the 2nd. Patterson was really terrible. Labinowiz had a solid showing.

This game ended up being reasonably close late but the wolves got out to a 25-0 lead. Yes you read that correctly. 2nd half D wasn't as good and obviously the Ignite were playing better The Wolves weren't moving the ball much either. It was good to see Poo Jeter out there as he is one of the veteran presence guys for the Ignite it was hard ot believe he is 37. It makes sense but I wasn't thinking he was that old. lol
