Not sure if you guys watched this but this... this is unacceptable. This is our apparent leader. It's no wonder why this team sucks.

Towns just doesn't get it and never will. Too many damn years we have waited and he literally is a big sulking baby. Someone's gotta put up stats on a losing team. Towns has got a damn pass on this losing for far too long.

Okc his more wins then we do and they literally traded everyone on there team. I think Kat is just a loser, plain and simple . Been coddled his entire damn life and it shows. I think it's time to blow this team up.

We still have to see how this season plays out, but I will admit that I'm much more open to the idea of trading Karl-Anthony Towns than I ever have been. There's a lot of things that I've seen and heard this season already that I just don't like or value from the supposed best player on the team. I believe in his talent. I actually think he's the most talented big in the league, but he's showing more and more signs of being a fragile, mental midget with little competitive drive despite the bullshit he says to the media night after night. Jimmy Butler was right on the money. What I don't understand is that Towns got publicly humiliated and STILL hasn't changed anything about himself to prove the naysayers wrong. He still hasn't truly looked at the man in the mirror and asked the difficult questions, so to speak. I believe there's a path to success with him in Minnesota, but the guy has to want it. I'm beginning to believe he doesn't want it as much as he says he does.

Sure.

Kind of like the Wiggins trade... anything is better than the status quo.
The Wolves aren't winning with Towns. And he clearly is letting everybody know (by his actions and play) that he's unhappy. And he's going it in a very Townsian sort of way...

That being said. I don't think he's entirely wrong about some of this stuff. Ironically, the former team savior (who was part of a duo granted the world prematurely) is seemingly sulking over the new team savior being given the world prematurely. Edwards is insanely gifted. He's fun. And he has so much damn potential.

But there's a reason Sticky Fingers is gonna stick as a nickname. Don't think the young savior calling out the "team" for not passing and moving the ball didn't go unnoticed by Towns... the guy who was already seeing his shots drop in favor of the youngster.

It's probably time to move Towns for everybody involved. Re-re-re-re-Build around the young Edwards and a cast of tougher-minded complementary pieces.

But... please hold Edwards accountable for what he's NOT doing correctly before it's too late, e.g., he's too close to that max extension. We've seen how the story of rewarding players for playing losing basketball ends.

Should have been done a long time ago my friend. We've wasted so much time already. Towns can bring back a nice haul. Get it done and move on.

I thought that Ant already walked that comment back, saying he shouldn't have complained.

I'm not going to be as critical of him as a 20 year old though too. He's got some time to learn how to pass BETTER and develop that ability. He also needs to finish at the rim at a higher rate and shoot the 3P better too.

But we do need to see progress. So not a free pass either. We've seen talent wasted from the likes of Wiggins and KAT (to a lesser extent) we need to hold players accountable for not making progress.

KAT should have punched Butler in the face and took a 10 game suspension in the first game playing him after the trade, it would have been worth it. All he had to do was smack talk him, Butler would step up and KAT could knock him out. I would have liked to see that.

Karl-Anthony Towns isn't a fighter. He doesn't have that kind of aggressive nature inside him. Towns has probably never even been in an actual fight. That weird wrestling match with Joel Embiid years ago doesn't count either. Jimmy Butler would beat his ass if it ever came down to it.

Not if KAT knocked his head off first. He should have took the initiative. If he happened to "lose" the fight which likely wouldn't have lasted more then a swing or two before both teams pile up, then so be it. At least try the little bitch Butler.

I would move DLO first if possible and see if we can get a legit third talent to partner with KAT and Ant. Next, we got to get a legit rim protector to pair with KAT.

I agree with your last sentence. They've needed to do that for the last three years and we still haven't seen it. What continues to boggle my mind is that Karl-Anthony Towns lost considerable weight/bulk/strength this off-season in an apparent effort to get quicker and more agile, presumably to play on the perimeter more -- perhaps more minutes at the four spot. But there's been literally no addition to the four or five depth besides Nathan Knight, who obviously isn't a rim protector. They didn't add a center, which means that it was obvious Towns would have to play most/all of his minutes there. Why didn't Towns' workout regiment this summer match the plans the front office and coaching staff had for him? What was the disconnect? Why is there disconnect between management and the team's presumed best player? That's all very weird to me.
