Some one give me proof that either one won't turn out to be Wesley Johnson.

Forget either might be both.

I'd be happy with Wesley Johnson type careers at this point.

How much different does this roster look right now if the Minnesota Timberwolves specifically targeted shooters in the draft the last handful of years rather than pass over them?
2016: Kris Dunn -- Jamal Murray, Buddy Hield
2017: Lauri Markkanen -- [traded], Luke Kennard
2018: Josh Okogie -- Landry Shamet
2019: Cameron Johnson -- [traded], Tyler Herro
It's almost like this franchise values the three-point shot, but does absolutely nothing in terms of targeting and acquiring the personnel. How long has this been a dire need? Since forever?

I'll give coaching a chance to make a player a better defender far before they can make a guy a better shooter.

Im thinking we chose to develop the wrong guys.
How better would we be if gave kbd were given okogies development time and nowell given culvers time.
I think both second rounders are better than our first rounders.

This team needs more than developmental players. If they plan on keeping Towns. They need plug and play guys.

They've got plug and play. Plug and play like dirt.

Absolutely right, Cam. To be fair, the Thibodeau regime didn't really value three-point shooting all that much. So the Dunn pick fit the Thibs mold and epitomized why I thought he was a terrible PBO. Same with the Okogie pick and the decision to trade LaVine and Markkanen for Butler. But the Rosas regime clearly puts a high premium on three-point shooting. So the decision by Rosas to trade up for Culver is simply bizarre - even more bizarre than the decision of the defensive-minded Thibodeau to sign the defensive-challenged Jeff Teague as his starting PG at $19 million per year. A bad front office will ultimately produce a bad product on the court. That's just stating the obvious. Unfortunately, the Wolves have always had mediocre to bad front office regimes. Hence, the consistently bad Wolves teams on the court over the years. The jury is still out on the Rosas regime, but so far I'm not impressed.
