Do You Know That Sound

This will be a little weird. Have you ever guarded someone or even been in the near vicinity of somebody that can really elevate? The violent act of exploding from the ground makes a particular sound. You can also hear it during high jump competitions. But I love that sound, and it only comes from the small percentage of athletes who could really get up. Vertical jump was my strong suit as a player, I measured out at 37" and had held our high school record. I imagine I was able to make the sound but couldn't hear it from myself. Anybody else know this unique sound?

Rodney Willams dunked on me in high school and mean mugged me. I shook my head if disbelief. My father came to me after the game and said hey you'll have a story for life now.

And you just proved your father right :) But did Rodney make the sound as he went up?

If I could describe the sound I'm talking about, I think it would be the sound made when you take a towel out of the clothes dryer, grab it by the corners, and snap it down to shake it out.

Everything I explode toward the hoop I make a farting sound. Well, actually I fart which is why I make that sound. And for the record, it doesn't get me any closer to the hoop.

Same here cool, I also scored 4 touchdowns in the state high school championship game. I often reminisce about those simpler times

I played RB and I dreamed about scoring 4 TD's in a game but never did. Al Bundy was a legend.

When I jump, you can hear a pin drop. :)
