GDT: Knicks vs. Wolves

Post by Camden [enjin:6601484] »

Good start for Karl-Anthony Towns tonight. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but he usually plays well when he makes his shots. He's doing that tonight early.

Also, if New York offered you R.J. Barrett for Anthony Edwards straight up would you take it? I think I would, but it's not a slam dunk.

Minnesota's turning the ball over way too much. Also, New York's defense looks great. No wonder they rank at the top of the league there. Good bounce back for Thibs in that regard after a nonexistent defensive turnaround when he was head coach of the Wolves.

Always enjoy seeing Taj Gibson play. Just blocked Karl-Anthony Towns dunk attempt. The guy still getting it done at his age. He's an easy fan favorite everywhere he goes it seems.

Yeah, I had liked him for a long time in Chicago and then was excited when Minnesota signed him. He's just a solid veteran big that does his job on a nightly basis. You usually know what to expect from him from game to game and I value that.

Also, I would have much rather had him starting this year than watching that four-guard starting lineup Ryan Saunders kept running with Josh Okogie. Awful.

Jim Pete talking about why Minnesota never established a good defense under Thibs. He brought up Wiggins inconsistent effort and Teague as a few issues he saw. Think that's fair. Towns also wasn't an anchor defensively like the bigs the Knicks have at their center position.

Am I tripping or does Elfrid Payton and R.J. Barrett look related?

Towns might grab 20 boards tonight.
