I haven't watched the game yet but I'm guessing you went with the nap? I'm tired so I'm going to bed earlier and watching the game in the morning.

Meh . . .  no need to watch. We've quit on Ryan.

I hate to be the guy to say this and it may sound blasphemous, but I'll say it:

this team shouldn't bring Jones back at any cost. Whatever can be unlocked with him is gonna be done somewhere else. It's just not gonna happen here.

Now I'm sort of with you but give him a little break his mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Probably a lot on his mind now

He's serviceable as a backup. It all depends on the cost.

I disagree, no matter who was put as interim it would be going about the same. Missing Roco for the last couple months has been huge. I think we'd be close to the 8th seed had he stayed healthy. I', not saying keep Ryan or not. Just that he was put in a no win situation. We have SAB's like Wiggins who has shown he only plays hard once a year. The only good player who is great is Towns right now. You can't win many games with one guy.

I've realized that Wolves fans fall in love with their serviceable pgs.

Watched the first half...we looked decent. Didn't bother watching the second half because I knew Houston would put on the accelerator and our squad no longer has the heart to play any defense. We allowed 50 attempted 3's! Classic Wolves defense right there.

As for Tyus, it's all about price point. Same with Saric. I agree that if either of these guys get too expensive, we need to just let them walk. I think the debate is where we define the cutoff for "expensive".

I'm a big Tyus Jones guy but yeah he hasn't been that good lately. Still...lets not go too far here as good backup PGs are worth paying for and he is still young and has legit potential to get better. The number I would give him has dropped no doubt. Its these types of contracts that can...ok maybe not make or break a franchise but its a big deal.

As for the game. After the first half which the Wolves were pretty competitive the game was over. The positives in this game is that it feels like the Wolves may have accumulated some wings that are actual NBA players. A dynamic PG would be pretty sweet added to this roster. I'm not saying the wing position is filled and no need to be concerned with it but getting some worthwhile plays at that position is nice because it gives you depth ability to trade Wiggins and also ability to make some trades.
