A number of intriguing players were released today. Which if any of these do you think the Wolves should sign to fill the 14th roster spot (I'm assuming Thibs leaves the 15th spot open to possibly fill later in the season)?

I'd consider signing Morrow, Green or Payton. Morrow would give us a pure 3-point shooter, but there must be something wrong with him getting cut after failing to attract any interest this offseason. Gerald Green is a solid 3-point shooter who can play both wing positions. He's still really athletic. Payton is a terrific defender. We don't really have a defensive specialist on our bench. Payton could fill that void.

Lip this is a good thread.

Eric Piatkowski said in his speech when inducted to the the South Dakota Sports hall of fame that he knew his NBA player days were over when his agent was calling teams and the teams asked if he was interested in coaching. The Cavs asked Perkins if he was interested in coaching. This team doesn't need a center.

It sounds like Richard Jefferson is gonna end up with the Bucks who are supposedly trying to dump Rashad Vaughn and/or Henson to save some money. I would have liked adding Jefferson but I am sure his connection with Kidd makes sense and they clearly wanted more vets considering all the guys they brought in the last few weeks.

Personally at this point unless it's a pretty good player or a young guy you really like a lot I don't see the point of signing anyone. There are gonna be guys out there to sign at any given point. I'd rather wait till we actually need someone because of injury before filling up that 15th spot with some half decent deep bench guy. We also have the G-league team we can pull from as well with guys on that roster running the Wolves system etc. you can see a bunch of teams are running with just 14 roster spots.

Wade Baldwin is getting waived. He was a guy I thought had nice upside in last year's draft. From what I have heard and seen he has been very disappointing his shooting percentages make Dunn look good. Lol His q score stats when he played last year show some promise. I read on realgm there may be some attitude concerns. Sometimes potential is a dangerous drug.

I liked Baldwin out of college too. Looks him and Dunn are on the bust train.
