How many of you would increase your predicted win total for the year? I was at 35, and i might bump it up slightly.

Mine was low. I said without trades I would have been at 37 but was sure Rosas was going to trade the team away and guess somewhere in the 20s. Now I don't know what to think, and I love it.

I'd increase it considerably if Minnesota's defense continues to be decent like it has been, and if this is the version of Andrew Wiggins that is here to stay. Two pretty big if's with reasons to be optimistic and reasons to be cautious. I don't think anybody saw this coming and most predictions reflect that.

If both of those things remain true, I could see the Wolves flirt with .500 or slightly above it.

I'd definitely bump up mine. I'd say 41 right now and I think I was at 27 before. It's amazing what happens when your 2 max guys actually play like max guys.

I think they already went over my prediction.

Oops. But I'd prefer to be wrong on this...

I said 42, I might be on the low end. I expected the team to be better than last year. No Butler fiasco, healthy RoCo (hopefully). Full offseason for Ryan and company to implement offense and defense., no idiot HC anymore! I didn't think Wiggins would be this much better for sure. Because he has done nothing to prove to be reliable night in and out. But he just might be. The only time he tried hard was against Cleveland and for some reason OKC. Maybe Westbrook talked shit to Wiggins or something. If the team stays healthy they could be a mid seed. 4-5 maybe. I was thinning 8th seed at best. We'll see what happens.

I like what you're saying here. We have to continue to win the games we should win.

Tim's opTIMism may actually be closer to reality than a pipe dream for once.

Like Abe, I think they may have already exceeded the win total I predicted, lol. The defense is definitely better than expected, largely because of the drop coverage scheme that has really limited the amount of open layups and dunks at the rim. That adjustment and the way KAT and Vonleh have executed it is probably equally as important as Wiggins' play. Coaching makes a difference, especially on defense.
