GDT: Oh, Ho, Ho — It's Magic!

ICYMI: Last week, Shaquille O'Neal shared a brief story of how he met David Stern before the NBA draft lottery in 1992. Shaq was asked if he wanted to play where it's cold (Minnesota; 16.67% odds) or where it's hot (Orlando; 15.15% odds)... And then Orlando won the lottery. *wink* *wink*

Fast forward almost three decades and almost nobody outside of Minnesota fans care about that. Shaq likely would have left Minnesota just like he did Orlando, though it's fun to think about the "what if" factor had the Wolves retained him and then also were smart and fortunate enough to land Kevin Garnett. Oh how things could be different for this franchise's history...

Nonetheless here we are at 17-40 and coming off arguably the best and most exciting win of the season against Miami. I'm basically hoping for an entertaining game where the Wolves' backcourt plays electric basketball and the young diamonds in the rough -- Jordan McLaughlin and Naz Reid -- maintain their level of production.

I'll also be specifically watching Aaron Gordon on the Magic's side. He would be a nice consolation prize if the Wolves can't pull off a Devin Booker trade this summer.

D-Lo is picking up right where he left off against the Heat. The guy is a shot-creator and a shot-maker. Man, oh, man.

Man, and I thought Target Center was dead. It's like a library in Orlando.

Reid is such a better screener than KAT. That's one thing hopefully DLO gets on KAT about. And it's not that Reid is some master craftsman like Horford or DeAndre Jordan, it's just that KAT is so bad at it.

Question. What ethnicity is Fournier? He looks almost middle eastern.

Yeah, Towns is so eager to pop out of the screen that he ends up setting a piss-poor screen. That does get tiresome to watch.

He's French if I recall correctly. He also used to have really solid hair flow, but he bleached his hair once and killed his follicles! One of the saddest stories that nobody gives a shit about. Ha!

That might be his nationality, but his skin tone suggests more exotic origins. He's just one of these guys who isn't quite white, but I wouldn't call him black either.

Please don't get blown out by the Magic. Please don't get blown out by the Magic. Please don't get blown out by the Magic...
