And of the candidates which one would look best in a Wolves uni?

Does anyone think Westbrook is having his best season? Despite his shooting woes the rest of his counting numbers just seem to have more substance this year.

I get the Giannis argument, and it's a really good one, but Harden has been insane this year. He's carrying a team of misfit toys in Houston and has been nothing short of amazing. Keep in mind that he's been without Capela and Paul for most of the season and still has the Rockets in the playoff hunt -- currently the fifth seed in the always-deep Western Conference. My vote is for him, but again, I won't knock anyone for saying Giannis.

Agree on Harden or Giannis for MVP.

In terms of Pork's specific question, I agree with him. This year's version of Paul George is an elite 3-pt shooter, an elite scorer, and an elite defender. He would be the ideal compliment on the wing to our current squad.

This makes me sad. Pick Bazz one pick before Giannis and it has been heavily reported that Kahn wanted George over Wes Johnson but because of the media outburst of the Rubio/flynn/Lawson draft didn't want to "reach" for George

Or we could have simply kept our picks and taken McCollum and Gobert with our own two picks. Either way, Flip really screwed up in that draft.

I find it hard to give the MVP to someone in the East. Their 6th seed wouldn't even be a playoff team in the West right now. I'd be between PG13 and Harden right now for me and whoever finishes higher in the standings would be my choice. Milwaukee is winning almost 79% of their games against Eastern Conference teams. It's a pub stomp right now. They drop a full 10% against Western teams which is a much smaller sample size (38 games against East to 19 against West). They're still very good against the West, but I'm curious what they would look like if those games were flipped and they had to play 38 games against Western teams. With Oladipo out for the year Milwaukee's division features 2 of the 3 worst teams in the conference (and 2 of the 4 worst in the league) and mediocre Indiana and Detroit teams. Those are free wins that they have taken advantage of going 11-1 in their division.

Milwaukee has played great, but calling them the best team in the NBA is going of a very soft schedule (22nd in the NBA in strength of schedule so far). 9 of the 10 easiest schedules in the NBA have been in the East this year and New York is the only East team in the top 10 of hardest schedules. It's a pretty big difference in conference strength this year which is why the East is basically a pub stomp for the top 4 teams now that Oladipo is out.

I think Khans is shortchanging Indiana a bit.

It's not like Oladipo wasn't around for the first part of the season.

The East has four legit teams... that are as good as anybody in the West, sans GSW. Milwaukee, Toronto, Philadelphia and Boston are very good.

Indiana is pretty good. Granted... everybody else sucks balls to various degrees.

Those 4 teams are talented. Toronto is the only one of the 4 not in the top 10 of easiest schedules in the NBA. Indiana has had the easiest schedule in the league to date. Philly 21, Milwaukee 22, Boston 26, Indiana 30. So how many extra wins are they getting because of that fact? 3-4. I'm just saying their perceived conference strength is getting a little skewed because they just aren't playing as many trying and tough games that can grind you down as the season goes on.
