Give me another team or two *reaching* with a late lottery prospect possibly falling to Minnesota with an objectively no brainer pick. "I can't believe Minnesota walked away with Miles Bridges, Zhaire Smith, Kevin Knox, etc."

It seems like this draft has enough good wings that we will be able to convince ourselves to be excited about whoever it is we take at #20, whether or not that player was projected to go higher or lower by the various mocks or was one of "my guys" - it just seems like a pretty big pool to pick from. But we gotta nail it!

Seems to have a combination of the things we need in one package. Yet we didn't work him out!

Good thread Q. I'm gonna post what I did on the other draft thread.

Its just a little over 24 hours till the NBA draft. Does anyone have a guy they really want at #20? How about a perfect somewhat reasonable draft of both the #20 and #48 pick?

Josh Okogie is the guy that intrigues me the most at #20 but most mocks have him a few spots lower.

So my perfect draft* would be Okogie at #20 then Either Justin Jackson for a lengthy combo forward with upside at #48 or a shooter whoever falls.

* the other option is some sort of trade down (Layden did mention today at the PC depth means trading down was an option) and get Okogie or even Thomas and another player with a higher 2nd round pick like Shamet Trent or even one of the International wings. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up for a trade down, but its interesting to think about...I say this every year I think. lol

Sounds like Wolves are actively looking to move back in the 1st round. Makes sense if it allows them to shed some salary. It seems like there are a bundle of solid wings in the 15-30 range so it may not be a huge deal where on that spectrum we pick.

Jon K reports that K Thomas did not disclose his medical and chose not to work out for the Wolves. Why? He didn't know but apparently he didn't want to go there. It makes some sense I mean right now the Wolves have 2 wings in Butler and Wiggins that are gonna play a lot of minutes maybe he is hoping to go to a team that has a more obvious need as a starter. That doesn't mean the Wolves can't select him if they want to. I'm sure they know his game plenty well since they drafted his teammate a year ago. It seems like he has moved down a ways to last few weeks. I don't know if it's because he is moving down or other guys have been doing things to move up.

I'd like the team to get a shooter.
Both K Huerter and D Divincenzo fit there and have some upside.
